The new Nissan Patrol will be launched! the first variant will be the Gas version 5L v8 engine. post ako ng pics after the event. so watch out. it will be launched together with the new Murano body.

May price ka na ba for the new Patrol and Murano?

If that's what they'll bring to the US as the Patrol then they might as well keep it. That's not the Patrol that every 4x4 enthusiast in the US has dreamed of having. I want the solid axle front and back with the off road ability not some glorified minivan with IFS and IRS that relies on electronics to get it anywhere. If I wanted a car like ride then I would have bought a car, the reason you buy a 4x4 truck is because you want a truck not some poser crossover wannabe 4x4. I hope they don't phase out the Xterra because that is the only 4x4 competition to the Jeep Wrangler since Toyota is stopping the FJ Cruiser.

Thankfully, I still have my trusty old Patrol GU.

I'm still dreaming of upgrading to a current model GU (GU4?). The last of the solid axle series. Just put in some difflocks and you're unstoppable. I don't want no computer chips telling me what to do.

But then again, I'm not the Patrol's target market.

The new generation is just a rebadged Armada for me.

Prices will be out after the launch. But there are 3 units of the new Murano that will be available. I just dont know kung ilan ang available units for the new patrol. Unahan ba. pero sorry sir di ko pwede ishare yung prices bawal e. but if your interested you can call me 0917-8584016 para mainvite kita sa launching. I already have 1 client kasi na kukuha na nung bagong Murano. Hopefully mapunta sakanya yung isa sa tatlo kasi baka mamaya 3 months waiting din yan sa unit.

That is the best news about Nissan in the Philippines so far.
This just mean that Murano will be priced more competitively and the trims will be more detailed. Hope they soon do the same with other passenger cars.

How about the Xtrail? Who is handling it?
And also, where does UMC source its products? Thailand, US or Japan? I bet it's not Japan & US.

The new Patrol are all manufactured in Japan as of the moment. So definitely, the Patrol to be launched here will be from Japan.

i think they will do exactly what they did on the grand livina. launch date kasi nun is june 6 (inaayos na ang mga porma ng mga GLs sa showroom), pero ang date ng mga pgrelease ng mga unit is on june 13(grand launch na talaga, with foods and drinks accomodated na). baka lang naman gayahin nila ang ginawa sa GL dati hehehe

March 25 will be the official launching date but the units will be unveiled in a specific venue not the dealers. Thats why the event is RSVP for interested buyers muna and the press of course. I dont think most dealers will display the new patrol and murano since they are quite pricey. They have to order a unit just for display purposes. However im quite confident na magdidisplay kami sa Nissan westgate since ayala alabang residents are good targets for the two units. We even displayed a 350Z before. Yung current patrol nga bihira ka makakita ng display murano pa kaya. sabi skn ng SA namin, Manny Pacquiao owns one dw pero lately parang medyo marami na kong nkikita na murano, ngayon lang sila nagsisilabasan mahal din kasi ng current murano...people would more likely to buy patrol pa kaysa sa murano, IMO

Yes they will keep the super safari kasi the gas model will be coming out first. Saw the new look of the murano sa Star Motors (UMC Plant) deng ang ganda! sayang ala ako dala cam.
