Been in that situation too sir. The Nissan Sylphy won for me. Depends on your needs kasi sir. For me the cabin space and a/c is priority. I'm happy with my decision. [emoji4]

Got confused by the post sir. my bad. thought that sir Papsee24 was referring to buy a brand new car [emoji4] thank you for pointing me in the right direction sir. Anyway my vote goes to either the corolla or sentra. [emoji4]

But a 100k Dp on the sylphy i think is doable too [emoji106]

My officemate was able to get a Sylphy 1.6 CVT (SRP 915k) for only 850k. Mukhang wala talagang bumibili ng Sylphy kaya ang laki ng discount.

Really great buy for those who wanna be different. If the 1.8 was offered with the same discount, it's such a bargain.

I think there's a 50k disc. on all variants of the Sylphy now including all freebies pa. But Mas malaking disc.pa pala nakuha nang officemate mo sir. [emoji4] Ok nga konti lang bumili para yun mga gustong bumili mura nakukuhang price. Hehehe advantage nang buyer yan Sir Jut703. More car for your hard earned money.[emoji4]

In the long run, it could mean that NPI cannot operate profitably, and parts availability and resale value will definitely take a hit. So I don't think it's good that this early in the Sylphy's life cycle, nilalangaw na siya.

I think they would not give discounts that they could not at least have some decent profit. In our area i can already see more Sylphys on the road unlike before. In any case the buyer still wins on this.

Yes of course the 50k discount still gives the company positive margins, but unlike Toyota and Mitsubishi that are able to give equally large discounts in exchange for high volume, Nissan has both low volume and high discounts.

The Sylphy was launched roughly the same time as the Mazda 3, but only one of them
is selling well. I'm waiting for more updated car sales data, but I doubt it'll be any different from Jan-May data where the Sylphy can't even outsell the 7-year old Lancer.

Ok lang yun Sir Jut kahit kulelat si Sylphy [emoji4] basta mura yun benta nila panalo mga buyer sir. When we were buying we went around dealerships to test drive the altis, sylphy, lancer, yaris, vios, jazz, city, almera,sw ift. Eventually we got the Sylphy. It suits our needs. Happy with our purchase naman sir. Value for your money din kasi.
