transmission problem (clatter sound...)

are these "transmission problem (clatter sound...)" only being experienced with the diesel manual transmission variants only? or pati gas?

sir sa diesel lang po ito... about sa gas no problem ka tahimik makina ng gas eh chaka smooth!!!!

Background:
GSL Diesel 2004 (prior the latest Adventure upgrade) - so Seth is a little over a year only (or 25000Km old). Regular PMS.

Problem:
Clatter/rattle sound on cold start from the transmission. The sound goes away temporarily when I step on the clutch. The sound goes away after some time or when I step on the clutch a couple of times or if I move the stick a bit in nuetral. The sound is not present when gear is engaged and moving.

Update:
1. I saw sign of re-occurence of leak at my transimissions rear part (casa supposedly had replaced gasket during 25K PMS). Pictures attached.
2. I noticed it is louder when on an incline.

hindi sa transmission ang problem mo. nagkaroon di akong problem sa rattle sound. when i did a check up, it comes from the middle pipe of our exhaust system(yung may cover), yung naka-connect sa muffler underneath with two screws with springs. lumuluwag kasi yung mga connections sa sobrang lakas ng vibration. try pushing the pipes with a wood or stick habang naka-on ang engine mo, parang hinahawakan mo para mabawasan ang vibration. kung nawawala, that means kailangan pa-higpitan mo. nagkakaroon lang ng problem sa transmission when you reach 100k+ kms. mine is already 85k kms, wala namang problema.

I had this problem sa Starex ko dati, pag start maingay and when you depressed the clutch nawawala na ingay. Parang mey nagkikiskisang metal. Di ba nga yung starex engine is the same 4D56 of mitsubishi? Yun pala "release bearing" lang. Pagkapalit ng release bearing nawala na yung ingay. I agree with sir theveed and arvic.

para sa akin masyadong maaga para palitan release bearing if you're odo is just 25k kms lang. also, kung release bearing ang sira, dapat mahirap ipasok sa desired gear ang stick shift. well, kung sira nga talaga covered pa ito sa 100k km warranty.

try to check linkage sa trasmission, 2 goma lang yan mga bro. its located underneath sa labas ng transmission. Madali lang palitan, cost 25 pesos each.

ganito rin problem ng H100 namin ngayon plus mahirap kumambyo sa lahat ng gears minsan kailangan pa idouble pump yung clutch para pumasok sa 1st gear and btw kapapalit lang din ng clutch repair kit. tama kaya diagnosis ng mechanic na pinagtanungan ko kailanagn na daw palitan yung release bearing, clutch disk and pressure plate? meron pa ba akong dapat ipacheck laki kasi ng gagastosin tapos mamaya iba pala ang problem. tnx!

This is one of the symptom. I also had this problem before.
