mga strada bros, where can i buy door/side molding for my glx, the ones in the casa are so expensive, maybe yung fabricated fiber glass or hard plastic outside the casa will be much cheaper. and kung wala naman, puede be yung sa montero door molding ilagay sa pick-up natin? thanks in advance.

Hi mga Sir!

Been lurking in this thread for some quite time now, and I finally able to convinced the wifey to get the Strada GLX or GLS. Originally we are looking for Innova or Altis as our first car, but since these models are having problems based on some other forums here in tsikot also. (such as D4D stalling, fuel tank, and suspension - for Innova. Stuck acceleration pedals, ZZ-series engine slugging, light steering wheel - for Altis). We don't want major problems sana for our first car. We both think na Honda cars naman are really holdapers, over-priced sila(opinion lang namin yun).

We will try to get an schedule next week for a test drive para mawala ang second thought namin sa pagpili ng Strada. Kung ok lahat, loan na kasunod nito sa bank at ayos na buto-buto.. :D

Anyway, ang tanong ko lang mga bossing.

Is it ok na maglagay ng mga accessories sa Bagong Strada para lalong pomogi kahit na under warranty period pa sya??? Such as getting a bigger tire 235/85/16, getting a rollbar with a third light ba tawag dun, mga fender flares, bullbars, at kung ano-ano pa...!

This is my 2008 Strada. First mod that I did was the installation of a roll bar and utility box, then replaced the stock tires with performance tires with better rims, custom-built wider fender flares, added turbo timer and side mirror cover with signal and park lights, installed aftermarket bash plates, undergone suspension lift with longer aftermarket shocks, and recently added a custom-built front bumper with winch and high wattage fog lamps. Also changed the filter to KNN.

So far I was still able to get my noisy steering column replaced under warranty. Yun lang ang naging problem ng Strada ko. Maybe sa electricals void na ang warranty but I don't really care hehe.

regarding sa warranty...

anything that involves drilling sa body (metal), voids the warranty on rust. so kung mga stick ons lang (like cladding) or screws lang sa existing na butas (bullbars, flares, etc.) ok yan.

anything that splices the electricals or would burden the alternator, void na rin. so kung may sariling line, with relay and fuse, and hindi mabigat ang kuha ng kuryente, ok din.

anything that exceeds 17" mags will void the warranty on suspension. so kung 17" ang mags and super laki ng gulong, ok lang

anything that involves unauthorized engine modification, void na rin warranty dun

heto ang important... what the casa dont know, will not void your warranty hehehe... gets???

sir go1 ang ganda ng kinalabasan ng truck mo. makes me think kung paitimin ko na rin ang flares ko. astig din ang bagong hitsura ng bumper guard mo. mabangis talaga, ika nga ni bigblock, we are all waiting for the rear bumper design.

Salamat Sir G01, as I mentioned earlier na its been a while since I began lurking into this thread. I`ve been following the transformation of your strada sir, in fact bilib na bilib ako sa ginawa nyo sa fender flares ska sa bumper nyo. Pati kung pano siya katibay ng sumadsad yung Civic sa bumper mo. Tinignan ko nga pati yung sketch nyo ng bumper don sa kabilang thread, and really amazed on how good you are in fabricating metals. Sariling Sikap! Para yung mga napapanood ko sa Discovery Turbo na `Overhauled`, kaya lang mas mainam sa inyo kasi ikaw mismo ang nagfafabricate, hindi ibang tao. In fact sinave ko yung sketch mo, and I hope you don`t mind kung Piratahin ko design mo hehehehe.. Bilib na bilib ako sa design kasi parang transformer, futuristic!!! Sana sir pumayag ka na gamitin ko yung design mo if ever matuloy ang pagkuha namin ng strada. Please...

Thanks sir for making light to this, I will save this para me reference ako kapag nag-umpisa na kong magmodify ng future strada namin.

Come to think of it, wala pa yung strada namin, magtetest drive pa lang nga kami, ang dami na naming naiisip na modification ni misis. Kudos sa inyo mga sir, dahil sa mga ganitong thread lalong naeencourage ang mga tao na bumili ng strada!!!

i happened to meet sir alvin19 with his black GLX at the RORO boat on the way to Caticlan. Total kms reading after reaching my destination 925km, Total fuel 60L. approx 15 km/L not bad using 265x70x16 tires. Total time of travel 43 hours(metro manila to mindanao via the western nautical highway)

Thank you, sir, for appreciating my own DIYs. Hobby ko lang po na magmodify ng exterior ng sasakyan since drawing is considered work na for me hehe. Yes sir go ahead in copying the design. Iniba ko ng konti yung design ng actual bumper to be able to fit the additional auxilliary lights, fairlead roller and the remote box of the winch. Hopefully matuloy ang plan po ninyo ng wife mo na kumuha ng bagong Strada. Afterwards be a TSCP member na rin . Yung TSCP sticker ang pinakauna nga palang mod ng Strada ko .
