finally after waiting for almost 3 mos! we got out strada gls yesterday!!!!







and we went to carryboy earlier today to install a roller bar nyahaha





sigh all of the frustration went away when we got our strada woot woo!!

Finally!!! Lahat ng puyat sa pagiintay, pressure sa pag ha-haggle, LAHAT BAYAD nung dumating at nai-drive ko na ang 3.2GLS Sports Quartz Brown strada ko. kulang ang words to describe the feeling... grabe... iba... iba talaga!

It arrived last week friday, its been 1 week already pero d ko pa natatapos ung 1K. Ngayon lang ako nakapag post sa sobrang kasabikan hehehe.

Para sa mga magde-decide pa dyan at nagiisip pa kung bibili ng Strada, wag ka na magpatumpik-tumpik pa! Dami na nagpatunay na napaka-ganda nito at isa na ako dun! From the looks, the comfort, the power... grabe... sulit ka talaga!!

i happened to meet sir alvin19 with his black GLX at the RORO boat on the way to Caticlan. Total kms reading after reaching my destination 925km, Total fuel 60L. approx 15 km/L not bad using 265x70x16 tires. Total time of travel 43 hours(metro manila to mindanao via the western nautical highway)

Wow, Sir Flash...Congrats!! and nice shoes. Sabay ganda din ng break-in. Sir, yung 43 hrs nyo, ilang stop-over kayo? Hinde po ba hassle ang walang plaka? San po kayo nag overnight? Thanks.

sir, pareho ang predicament natin... I was in your position more than two years ago... civic din dapat kukunin ko but when somebody told me na mas mura pa ang strada, i started browsing here in tsikot. after a few weeks, I decided to get a strada... here are my reasons:

1. almost the same price
2. the strada is no push over in terms of acceleration and top speed (kayang sabayan ang civic under normal circumstances)
3. if you put a lid sa bed... viola! times 3 ang trunk mo!
4. pareho lang ang seating capacity and comfortable ang strada for a pick-up
5. mataas ang stance ng strada... ordinary flash floods in the metro? kayang kaya! sa sedan, tirik na
6. sa dami ng lubak dito sa pilipinas, kapag nalubak ng matindi ang civic, bukol sigurado ang gulong mo, or worse bengkong ang mags. sa strada, smile ka lang kahit anong lalim ng lubak
7. mas mataas ang resale value ng strada
8. mas matibay ang pang-ilalim ng strada
9. strada runs on diesel
10. you can bring the strada anywhere... kahit sa weddings or JS prom, hindi awkward ang porma... kasi hindi mukhang kariton

and many many more reasons....

MagpaPatotoo na din ako hehe....Civic or Strada lang pinagpipilian ko last year.

Kaya pinili ko Strada, for long-term use sya. Ganda ng suspension, Di ka mag aalala kung madami kang dala, tambak mo lang sa likod ayus na. luwag ng 2nd row cabin. Lubak at Baha..no problem. Economical, kahit maglakwatsa ka kahit san. Dagdag porma at pogi ka pa kapag ikaw nagmamaneho

Nadala ko na din sa wedding event, binyag at kung ano ano pang Barong events

Tsaka di ko kaya bumili ng Hummer H2 SUT, kaya eto na lang hehe.

pahinga ko= sa RORO total 10 hours (2+4+1.5+3.5): non driving time total (awaiting loading, etc) 14 hours (1+7+3+3) total driving time 19hours . 100kph lang max speed ko below 2500rpm (burst of 120kph minsan-minsan). exited kasi ako, gusto ko kasi sa strada na matulog

regarding sa plate, tinangal ko pa yung plastic na citimotors plate, na punit kasi manipis. delivery receipt lang pakita when getting the bill of lading. maraming LEO sa daan pero wala man sumisita (kasi ako inuunahan ko, hehehe)

bibili pa sana ako flares, kaso kulang sa oras, 3 pm na kasi nailabas sa casa deretcho ako evangelista palit gulong natapos 6pm na, kumain, 7pm byahe pa batangas na.

pwede naman siguro ipa LBC nalang flares ng goldcars?

Hi guys.. I just got 2010 cool silver glx strada and I'm so happy I got this as my first car. Many thanks to all who posted on this thread coz it really helped me a lot in deciding which car to buy. My brother drove it from manila to bicol and when I first saw my baby it was love at first sight. Hhaayy... hehe. Had the tires changed to bigger 265/70/r16 federal su tires and installed fender flares. Beautiful.

Ang ganda nun rollbar ni bler, magkano po ang ganyan? ano kaya ang bagay na lid diyan? yun manual lang sana saka yun madali lang tanggalin?

ano pa ba? flares san maganda pakabit nun flares? saka magkano? di ba void warranty pag nagpakabit nang rollbar, lid at flares?

pasensiya na mga Strada fans, puro kasi Civic yun niresearch ko kaya nun mag iba isip namin mag-asawa wala akong kaalam-alam.
