dammaster, the biggest consideration betweent he GLX and GLS is as mentioned earlier the 4x4 function. if you think you'll have a need for this, then definitely get the GLs, but if not the GLX is for you. just take into consideration the fact that having a transfer case and front differential adds another 1000 parts and pieces that can go wrong.

BTW...ang price nung mga branded na 22's dito could reach as high as 200k tires included..... now lets say ang tax is nasa 15k so 100k na ang babayaran mo....so cheaper parin compared dito.....

yep...I think you have the right PCD for our truck...=D

and its also good to know that its a tax free shipment...^__^

However....I want you to know that 22's can fit the strada but it comes with minor trimmings on the mudguard and slight rubbing on the wheel wells pag mga alanganing liko, slanting roads and potholes which is very common here in our land....

So if your willing to take those certain risks...in exchange of turning people's head....do the purchase ^_^....BTW...if you've decided to pursue this upgrade use the 305/40/22 series tires....because that is the most advisable tires when you are rolling with 22's...if I can recall correctly what bluemica said....hehe

With your permission sir BM...please let me use a pic of your awesome ride for reference purposes to help our future member here...TIA

but if you were to ask me....I'd still stick with the 20's because at this size you can still maximize the engines potential on highway speed and it still pretty much safer for the mags itself because you can still somehow put thicker tires and for truck also considering the road conditions here...
and also the pic of the mags you posted would still look great on 20's IMO

To all 2010 Strada owners,
Ganun ba talaga ang front bumper natin na rough at porous? Kasi when I got my unit, after washing hindi malinis ang bumper. So ginamitan pa ng isang liquid compound (don't know what it was) para matangal. Yun kasi ang problema since its rough and porous. Parang matte finish. So yung mga alikabok at dumi parang mahirap tangalin. Unlike sa previous 2007 Strada ko, same finish ng bumper nya sa fender flare at body nya. In short, makinis sya. Yung 2010 unit parang unfinished product ang bumper. Sa black unit ok lang siguro since di ganun kita. Saw also the a demo unit in Diamond Valle Verde, ganun din finish nya. Sabi ng mga SA, ganun daw talaga ang finish nya!

unless you are looking for hard to find offroad tire sizes, you are better off buying locally. i believe cheaper prices for offroad tores, especially the size 15 and 16s. you got the nankangs, GT, federals just to name a few for the lower cost branded tires. ako, nag iipon pa for my offroad tires and rims. am thinking of downgrading to 16in rims and 33in AT tires.

posible din yun sir....I remember back then when we still have another brand of pickup din... it only has 16k kms on it back then...nung ipapatest namin sa emission for registration yata or napag tripan lang hehe can't remeber exactly ...sobra ang usok nya...kasi inde nga daw nabibirit....so ang ginawa nung nag eemission test binomba ng binomba yung pedal up to 3.5k RPM...tapos katakot takot na usok ang lumabas for about 2 to 3 minutes of revving....then after nun ok na ulit pumasa na sa emission....then nung dinala namin sa casa for a check up....ang sabi samin nung SA naiipon nga daw kasi yung carbon dun somewhere in the muffler kaya kapag binibirit at tumataas ang pressure sa muffs saka lang nailalabas yung carbon na yun through smoke.....

Update lang po... Natest ko po unit kagabi, wala rev it till about 3,500 rpm, no sign of black smoke. Try ko po ulit pag umaga para mas clear. So far mukhang ok naman baka nga dahil sa mga nabuong carbon lang at kailangan ihataw paminsan minsan, sana tama assumption ko. Pero to be sure pacheck ko na din on the next PMS. Sana pag tinest ko sa morning wala na talaga para walang problema. Thanks

Hello mga sir's, i've been reading this thread for a while now kaya nga talagang na convince ako to get a Strada kasi mas lalo kong nakita ang beauty and stregth and most of all ang lufet ng support and information na nakukuha ko dito. actually, I already place the order recently pero my agent told me na wala pa daw kasing available na color na gusto ko. I don't know if wala nga pero it's okey for me to wait kasi controllable pa naman ang pagka atat ko hehe.

I have some questions po kasi regarding canopies. I'm opting kasi to get the quartz brown, possible ba na same as body color ung canopy na makuha ko? also, i'm planning kasi to extend the aircon from the cabin to the back, possible po ba ito? and what model/brand naman po ma recommend nyo for me to buy. i'm just thinking kasi na mas mura kung sa labas ng casa ako bibili db?

bro, lahat ng dumadating na canopies ay bare black lang, carryboy the distributor will color it for your like. like mine is a blue strada. the carryboy distributor here in our place do the body color painting, but di maganda ang pagkakapinta bro, haaay palpak talaga kumupas at one thing bro na naranasan ko sa carryboy ang hirap mag claim ng warranty. (halimbawa me problema ang pinakabit mo na item haay kaka badtrip)

as long as you wait for the glowplugs to heat up... i didnt experience any difficulty in starting, although its not the same as if nasa manila ang temperature.
