Hey guys I just got my GLX dark gray here in Cebu last week and had my first fuel consumption check today, I got around 7.5km/liter. Now I came from driving from a crosswind to strada and I was shocked by the numbers. Here in Cebu is mostly city driving but there are no heavy traffics though.

Just your quick opinion guys, how much does your 2.5 strada's consume?? Is this normal? And by the way my kilometer reading is almost 400 kilometers and haven't done a 1k check up yet. Thanks

Mataas yang consumption mo. Yung sakin base from my calculation... naka 68 liters ako in 660km so 9.7km/l yung consumption ko. Mine is a 2.5 L engine also. Baka may kinalaman din sa driving style mo. Kasi,the way I drive.. since break-in period... never ko pinapalampas sa 80kph and early shifting ako.. shift gear before or when rpm hits 2k. Minsan bumibirit ako.. pag gusto ko lang umarangkada.. pero minsan lang yun..

Ewan ko lang kung tama yung analysis ko... ano sa tingin nyo fellow TSCP?

sir, your effective annual interest is 12.69%. Medyo mahal yan compared to the 10.43% for 5 years of sir buneknek, assuming that this is bank rate. pero kung in-house yan (that is sa dealer yun financing), ok na yan...

Sir Gdown, ano pong variant ng strada yan binigay sa inyo na deal?
Kung hinde kayo nagmamadali, i think it's better to canvass around kung san mas ok ang interest rates lalo na 35%DP pala yan.

Ako up to know, di makakuha kasi naghahanap pa din ako ng magandang rates.

By the way, I changed my tires to 265/70 but stock mags lang and I mostly shift at 2k rpm. Is that a the reason that my consumption is 7.5kms/liter?

kaya pala sir... changing your tires can affect your fuel consumption

*markstep- yup tama sila lahat. also changing your tires will affect your FC and if bago pa strada mo dont expect na makuha mo agad yung FC nya since break-in periiod or bago pa lng siya IMO wait till 5k pms or 10k diyan mo makuha actual FC. before na stock pa im runnign around 10-11km/li but now changed my tires to 235/80/16 A/T nasa 9km/li nlng siya, so you'll have an idea. Ok thanks bro But as I've observed many of the strada members who had bigger tires also had an FC of around 9-10kms/liter. I'm just a bit worried that maybe there is a problem with the engine or maybe I got a lemon unit because I'm very light when it comes to stepping on the accelerator and shifting and I only got 7.5kms/liter.
Have you experienced this guys during your break-in period? Just for comparison.

observe mo nalang muna bro....its too early to determine kung may prob yung unit mo....bigyan mo muna palugit until 1k.....as what TK said nga since break in period mo palang inde mo pa talaga maabot yung full potential nung engine

Sir gls 2.5 m/t 4x4 po. yup ganun nga ang ginagawa ko di muna ako nagmamadali. dahil me na scoop ako na tutuo daw yun nangyaring baha sa planta nila pero mga low end daw!! daw!! yun mga fb raw ang lumubog sa baha. kanya ang gagawin ko eh jan15 ako maglalabas ng unit ko.. Para lang makasigurado. Pero nag inspect na ako ng fresh unit nila, wala naman akong makitang traces ng baha. Sa carworld pampanga ako tumingin ng unit dun din nila dinivulge un tungkol sa baha.

Sir Ian nagbackread po ako at di ko na sagot yun querry mo na apugan yes tama sa Baguio nga yun. Me bahay kasi ako dun and love your comiles hehehe. Dito po ako sa pampanga sir but spent my schooldays in Baguio. Maybank gave me a 19.6% inerest rate pero papamatch ko nalang sa mga bangko ko para wala ng ibang hassle.
