Hi everyone!
I bought a set of magnum splitfire 90/100 watts headlight bulbs and ask mitsu to install it. As with moxxxs case since I believe we got the bulbs from the same supplier, the only thing needed to be done is increasing the amp rating for the bulbs from the stock 15 to 20 (correct me if I'm wrong, moxxxs)They won't, unless I sign some sort of a waiver voiding all future elec warranty claims. I didn't sign the waiver, but will go ahead with my plan, anyway, plus replacing the stock fog lamps with 55 watt bulbs. My question is: Is Mitsu being reasonable in denying me warranty coverage of such upgrade or they are just playing it safe, which is not very good costumer service?
I also hope to get a mitsuba alpha na busina (any comparison with stebel magnum?). Any recommendation also on the type of fog lamps? TYI
mga bosbs, regarding sa upgrading ng mga shocks... madami choices, you have rancho, OME, ironman, bilstein, gabriel, kayaba, and a few more i keep forgeting. anyways, the above mentioned shocks i have already tried on my various vehicles, the best so far when i used to go off-roading was rancho and OME(old man emu).. now as for ride quality... upgrading our shocks would give us around 25-40% improved riding comfort depending also on the wheel and tire set that you have. as for handling, you can only expect so much as our steering system and linkages is patterned after the car design and not really as heavy duty as the previous designs for 4x4 vehicles, kaya pag nalulubak, biglang may pitik yung manibela sa kabilang direction, now this is where common sense and good driving comes in...regardless of the vehicle, it's make, model and design, treat all road surfaces with respect, be them concrete, asphalt, all weather dirt, or no roads at all, treat them with a lot of respect, slow down and take your time... i had to go through so many flip-overs and side tilts before i accepted that fact.
the suspension for our stradas are just the simple OEM suspensions, what can you expect from a cylinder smaller than most of our wrists? it's good for good roads and the occasional moderate loads. but if you intend to push your unit to the limit, upgrading to bigger suspensions should be done.
just my P5.00 worth of thoughts...![]()
as far as i know wla. but if you want body colored, it will almost be the same price for miggyboy and carryboy..a difference of P300. If you want the gray oem color, just go to miggyboy as it will be cheaper.
for me and boybit, we placed a 2din a/v unit.
mga bosbs. eto pala yung pics ng mags na kinabit ko kay pula...

sir jet A-1, i believe mitsu is still being reasonable, because the warranty covers only the stock parts and original accessories. you make any alterations it voids the warranty, the same goes when you buy elcetronic appliances, computers, guns and stuff... actually mitsu dealers are giving us enough room to change some stuff provided they are within manufacturers specs and standards, i.e higher output bulbs that are rated 60/55 but have an output of 110/100. i hope you get what i am trying to say here. i changed my bulbs to osrams all weather high output, but the rating is still 60/55 but with a higher output, so electrical warranty is not voided, i changed my tires and wheels to 16's and the suspension warranty is still good...
so saying that they are practicing bad customer service is kinda being too hard on them.![]()
you can change stuff but just make sure you stay within the boundaries of what is stock, or just gamble on voiding your warranty..which ever rocks your boat my friend.... some(me included) change their accessories, then when they go to the casa they install the original parts, lot's of trouble and hassle, but like i said to each their own.
sir i hope you don't this personally. i'm just speaking out what i think
question to those who bought a GLX Strada. san kayo nagpakabit ng fender flares and how much did it cost?
Hi sir leo, if it's reverse parking sensor you need, go to C3 Blaupunkt (that's the name of the store). They sell their parking sensors from 1,200 - 1,500. Look for Sanny, the owner. Sabihin mo na sa Strada club ka and you were referred there. The store is located along C3 near corner Bonifacio Ave. If you are coming from Banawe, just go straight until you reach the end which is C3 and turn left. The store on the ground floor of a 5 or 6 (?) storey building on the right side.
thanks for the recommendations doc ooba and sir jun for the recommendations. sa miggyboy na lang siguro ako magpapakabit ng lid and flares para same area lang sila ng c3 blaupunkt.
if you buy from them, installed na yun sa price na yun. eto pa..i canvassed rin sa c3 this afternoon, P7500 flat black fender flare, but if body colored, it would be P8500.
sir, eto po number nila:
