hello guys, im from kidapawan city, mjo malayo ang amin, mga 2.5 hours ride from davao city going to cotabato city, gusto ko sana sumali sa eb ninyo pero parang impossible eh, pwede b ako sumali sa strada club? please assist me kung paano mgpa register.tnx

about my roller-up, so far wla naman akong masabi kc, ok naman ang performance, may konting leak sa bandang likuran pero pwede namn lagyan ng adhesive, i purchased mine at southern banawe in davao city, parang ako palang yata meron roller-up dito sa davao, made in thailand cya na accesory, pang strada talaga kaya fit cya.mjo mahal nga lang tska 5 units lng inorder nila, hindi ko alam kung nabili n yung iba. ang masabi ko lng, sulit ang pgkabili ko kc hnd tlga nababasa ang gamit ko sa rear tska safe pa.

ask lng sana ako sa inyo kung may alam b kayo kung saan pwede mkbili ng spare bolt na nilalagay dun sa mags ko na dick cepek.para me spare ako incase mwala or mputulan ako.tnx

my wife and my mom complains bout the comfort
to slow down and small humps... hehehe

I'm planning to change my shock sooner
any recommended shock?
i dont overload my truck
and i dont even use it off road... (naka kulambo pa sa hauz)
i only use it during my class in davao...

regarding bout the uneven stand of our truck
my wife first noticed it
but as i evaluate and park my car in an even road
i cant barely notice it....

Sir nismo26, you can backread through the threads or use the search function...i believe there are posts and pictures of worn out leaf springs and problems with stock shock abs or coil springs...

Bro, from what I know, generally, stock shocks start to fade in performance after 10k kms. You may either have it replaced in the casa or buy aftermarket shocks which could be sturdier.

As to what brand, I don't have any first hand experience yet, except several years ago when I changed my Adventure shocks to Trailmaster. Contact ARB if you're interested in Old Man Emu. If I'm not mistaken, he also has OME springs. OME is well known in the off-roading world.

JJ taga cagayan ka pala, im from davao and planning to stroll sa cagayan probably by end of this month-1st week of may to stroll, i have been in cag twice already but for just a day or two, afair kumain pa kami sa inato bbq restaurant, do ko na ma sure name nun, may kalapit na hotel don kami nag stay. anyway, saan ba maganda bilihan 4x4 accessories diyan? yon medyo kumpleto pang mitsu. thanks

sir i think meron sa mga accesory stores jan sa osmena. one i know is the Michiba. its just along osmena st. pag nakita mo ang chery automobile, tumawid ka, then few steps going to your left you can see michiba. they are not exclusive of mitsu accesories. wala naman masyado stores for 4x4s here sa cdo eh. mas maganda ata kung sa manila ka bibili at magpa setup.

i think meron din po dun sa pitstop ketkai at pitstop coralles.

ROAD TRIP

I just had my first long road trip from Cagayan de Oro to Bacolod City and back. My unit is a 3.2 GLS Sports, 2 weeks old. Just wanna share my experience for your evaluation, future reference, and feedback.

The road to Bacolod via Dapitan-Dumaguete is a typical Philippine road- asphalt, gravel, paved, and lubak-lubak here and there. a nice way to test the performance of the new strada on all aspect.

The Good:

1. Power/Torque - superb! i conquered the road.
2. Acceleration - no sweat overtaking.
3. Speed - 140Kph no brainer. i still have to observed speed limit during break-in.
4. Climate Control - beat the heat of summer
5. Multi-Info Display - functional and very informative. Ave FC 10.3km/L
6. Rear Window - food and drinks easily witin reach.
7. Cup Holders - aplenty
8. Cabin Space- roomy


The Bad:

1. Seats- large for a typical pinoy. No thigh support. Seats too low. Firm cushion
2. Cargo Bed - small
3. Suspension - the 2000-2005 model is better.
4. Steering - I can feel all the road imperfections/ bumps transmitted to the steering wheel. damn, what a very uncormfortable ride on rough roads. my arms shakes like crazy.
5. Handling - compromised! the vehicle swerve when it hits bumps and potholes. probably interconnected with steering mechanism issues.
6. Road Safety - questionable. i had at least 3 near mishaps when the vehicle swerves/sways and almost lost control.

BOTTOM LINE:

The strada is fun to drive but when safety and handling is compromised, confidence and the pleasure of driving is lost.

I dont know if mine is an isolated case, i still have to bring this to the attention of our dealer. but i heard some owners complaining over the same issues. A simple analysis of this handling and steering issue could be link to the steering gearbox mechanism - the wheel does not firmly stay in place when it hit bumps and potholes causing it to turn sideways thus the steering wheel vibrates/jerks left-right and the vehicle swerves. I immediately drove several other cars and compared it to the strada's. with my dad's captiva, i can hold the steering wheel with one finger even on roagh roads, same with our frontier and my uncle's revo. there's really something wrong with my steering mechanism.

Please examine your units and hope to hear your feedbacks.

thanks for the welcome! i saw a member just this afternoon at banawe red with sportslid had a big "strada club" at the back ganda ng sticker hehe! nice tlga! saan kaya mura accesories balak ko dumeretso sa mga stores to get my ride pimped as early as possible hehe HiD muna but they told me void daw warranty pag nasunog.. nasusunog ba ang HID?labo.. QC pala ako hehe

I've no idea, atty. But since it's an aftermarket upgrade, there's supposed to be an improvement in performance, or else, it would just be a waste of money.
