    Nytce,
THanks. Yes, Mickey did it for me. 12" really requires more space unless you settle for a shallow mount but i think medyo rare humanap ng 12" shallow mount. So where did you end up? I was actually thinking of getting just an 8 incher pero nahinaan ako that's why opted for a 10". Good luck bro.

I got mine from Philippines First, P26,784. Try also Seaboard Eastern Insurance. I got a quotation from them with an almost the same cost as Philfirst's. Anyway, you may want to check first with the dealer if the insurance company from which you intend to get is accredited by them (the dealer). Para walang hassle just in case you need to use the insurance.

    Thanks.

I got my insurance sa citimotors alabang 60k, kasi yung BPI 32k ang

    quotation

sa akin, kaso mo ayaw akong bigyan ng unit ng casa unless sa kanila ako

kukuha ng insurance that was Nov. 2008 so napilitan akong sa kanila na rin

kumuha insurance . Eto pa ayaw nilang pumayag sa quotation ng BPI sa

monthly amortization kasi mababa daw kaya nasunod yung in house

financing ng citimotors. Tinetake advantage nila dahil sa ngayon in demand

    yung Montero.

thanks for the replies. grabe naman kapal ng mukha ng citimotors. 23k vs 60k. they are taking advantage of the demand of their vehicle. meron na sila na sales and still they take advantage pa sa financing and insurance. I'm not sure but i don't think honda or toyota did this to their customers.

Wow! 60k? yung akin sir sa citimotors las pinas naman.. kaso, i got my unit last 3 weeks ago... maybe the demand now is not that high compared before kaya naibaba nila ng husto...

Also, *relaoded_acer, better check if the coverage and participation are the same... some insurance are cheaper but when you take a look at the participation, baka umayaw ka na din..

or sometimes its not the dealer..but the sales agent at fault....gusto nila mas kumita malaki so they give all kind of excuses. best to still shop around..even if same dealer..ask different sales agent..mag pangap customer via phone...you will see iba iba ang offer ng agents.

Wow!!! mura nga! GLS din ako, but my participation is fixed sa 3k

*XTO sana nga po sa paramount na nga lang talaga.. pero too late na ng nalaman ko

And i think mukhang di nga maganda ang after sales service ng citimotors.. kasi until now, yung freebies ko (2 seat covers and rain visors) wala pa.. 3 weeks na din and wala pa plates ko.. sabi nila 2 weeks lang daw.. haaayyyy.... it's really true when they say never trust a car salesman

*av8or5, yes that's true.. i did that before i finalized everything.... hehe

Back when i got my montero back in oct.. getting insurance inhouse was one of those factors that would put you a little higher in the priority's list. But my usual practice is to get my insurance from my agent friend where its way way cheaper.. In house was charging about 55t if i remember correctly excluding tpl and it was some unheard of insurance company.. or at least i've never heard of.. so i really fought for it.. I got the quote from my friend and asked about the insurance companies that were reliable. I gave the info to my SA and they somehow fixed it for me.. So i ended up getting in house at about 28t including tpl which is nearly 2t i believe from pioneer insurance. And still was put in the priority's list.

My advice to those who are just about to buy.. don't believe everything the SA tells you, because its just natural that they want to earn more money from you. You can't take that against them because that's there jobs and that's what the company makes them do. So we just have to be aware of different prices and haggle with them. In house insurance and in house financing is always a NO NO.. ALWAYS! Unless you check around the give them the price you've found and take it from there. In regards with insurance, most of the time they can match any price, but you also got look at which company is going to insure you, if its an insurance company that's never been heard of or hard to deal with, its not worth it.

thanks very much for that mga sirs... this is actually my first time to see multiple cars offered by MMPC in a close price range actually.

    ==============================================

If they say that they will phase out the 3.2 GLS 4x4, this will lead a BIG price gap between the 4x2 GLS and the 4x4 GLS SE... i'm not too sure on what will be their take to fill in the gap whether to...

    1. Still retain the 3.2 GLS 4x4 but focus the production on the 4x2 GLS and the 4x4 GLS SE
    2. Offer a 4x2 2.5 GLS SE - a 4x2 GLS with the leather interior goodies of the 4x4 GLS SE with the price that is similar to the 3.2 GLS 4x4
    3. Or leave the gap "that" big...

is there anyone here who has possesion on the 4x2 MS already?
