pards nice monitor u got there ask ko lang, pag nagpalit ba ng head unit na monitor d mawawala na yun mga information like fuel consumption, compass, etc??? and may available na ba exterior accesories like rear spoiler, grills, mirror signal lights? if yes san kaya makakabili? gus2 ko kc galing thailand mitsu yun mga accesories e ang available lang dw d2 sa pinas puro fabricated e tnx in advance

Sorry dude, i'm not ready to show you yet. unless you happen to see it on the road. I'm not really liking my look yet.. wait till i "paint stuff".. "lower stuff" .. and "change stuff".. Its still a work in progress.. i will show it off when i'm happy with it. Hopefully by feb.

1st: pare, all those info on your display.. what does it really tell you? do you really even need to know the info on the display, i mean its nice to look at and have i guess, but if you think about it, it really useless? so in my opinion, screw the warranty on that.. hehehe

2nd: My sa says that there's a spoiler and grill coming in from thailand. I don't know what the spoiler looks like, but the grill is honey comb with a chrome border. Its supposedly on the Montero Test drive unit. If anybody caught it, it was suppose to be at the fort last weekend for test drives? who ever caught that or have pics of that particular unit, that's the grill thats coming in maybe jan or feb at around 7t.. i'll believe it when it gets here, but i did put on a reservation just in case.
As for other accessories, there's nothing from thailand.. i'm sure like me, you tried searching it online and came up with absolutely nothing. What's wrong with fabricated parts, sometimes, they even fit better, look better and even adjusted to your liking. Especially here in the phils, some of the shops make more money exporting their kits rather than from the local market, that must at least say something. Another thing, though it may be from thailand, its probably fabricated also by some local maker there and exclusively sold to mitsu. I'm pretty sure the mitsu japan won't make kits for this. Again, my opinion only.

A few years back, i remembered that honda civics were the "in" thing, and honda had kits for them so when you drive them out of the showroom your already hooked up, and they claim the kit is original honda etc.. but the truth of it is, a local fabricator had a tie up with honda and copied the mugen kit and sold it to honda which in turn honda sold as original honda kits.

According to my SA, definitely during the 1st quarter of 2009.. not this year.

Also, i heard that the prices are going up before they release the 4x2 units. I guess so they don't have to sell the 4x2 too cheap?

well anything is possible naman.. hehehe but i highly doubt it would fit WELL.. first, you have to get a single din unit.. you know, those ones that the screen slides out and folds... but your problem would be that the area of the stock head unit is deep into the console whereas the a/c switches are bulging out, so even if you can flip the screen up, i'm pretty sure the angle would not be great since it will hit the upper console. but again, everything is possible and i guess depending on head unit you might get lucky? I'm not an expert and i'm not about to tell you i know everthing, that's just what i think and my own assumptions.

Your welcome bro... try to use MOTUL fully synthetic oil for CRDi engine same specs.. your engine will be quieter than before... more refine...
