December 1st, 2008 09:11 PM #802Sir Toronegro
I will observe likewise. What i noticed with my neighbor's 4M41 strada is the noise became more distinct as the mileage gets higher. Same with my ranger WLT, mas maingay na nang umabot sa 40t KM mileage. Unlike gasoline engines that I got used to (2.0 QR nissan, G16B Vitara, 1.6 Vtec and even a very old 4G54 2.6 pajero), tahimik kahit lampas 80t KM mileage na. Hehe, OT na yata itong sagot ko. . .

*rangered/toronegro: Yung MS ko Ok naman even after the change-oil. I used Motul specific crdi synthetic. I don't hear any ticking sound. My previous car is gasoline (SiR) and I anticipated na this one will definitely be noiser than my previous drive - pero it's actually quiter than expected. Or maybe iba lang yung sensitivity natin sa ingay.
Won't compare it sa performance din dahil obviously very different yung 2 rides. The SiR's high-reving b16 engine is music to my ears, the MS's 4m41 is industrial.

Here's another one: And why I insist on going higher up on the allowable viscosity than what...
Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
