    hindi ko pa na timer-an, pero responsive naman ang 4AT, kung mga stock sedan or taxi ang kasabay from an stop light e yakang yaka naman iwanan, as in iwan na pumiga din sa Go light, ngayon kung Korean or US SUV kasabay pigaan sa take-off, palagay ko kayang kaya pa rin sabayan kung hanggang 100kph to 120kph lang, ayos nga e...sulit non vgt..

    Malakas pala talaga kahit non vgt na monty, so d rn pala siya pahuhuli sa current everest 2.5 tdci or fort 2.5 vnt ngaun sir and considering na vgt na ung mga un kaya nia pa rn ba sabayan un hanggang sagaran as in pedal to the metal?

    Additoonal questions po..mura na po ba pagkakuha ko sa monty ko 2014 model glx at..1,203,500? yung tweeter housing may na ka provide na po bang wires para dun and ano klase tweeter ang swak sa pod? Yung tv tuner, pano po activate? Thanks! Btw, as regards dun sa previous question ko on how to dim the HU, workaround ko so far os tp press the clock tapos ma ddiaplay yung orasan with black background..

    I got mine last 14 Feb 1.098M GLX MT and with the discount I installed VGT spoiler, backup camera/sensor, rain visor, leather seat cover, cabin air filter, tire cover, SD card & euro conduction plates

    agree! yakang yaka ng Non-VGT monty natin + lakas loob ng driver and below considerations:
    1. EGR blanked - for quicker take-off below 2k RPM w/o the funny "smoke bomb" (also note that per my experience, blanked EGR allows the system to quickly build pressure required for the Turbo to spool earlier...)
    2. performance air filter (KN&N drop-in)
    3. Take it from me (me alone) -- Use Shell V-Power Nitro+ Diesel for spirited driving.. (I always do this for long drives, hatawan, and switch to Unioil / Seaoil pagbalik ng city driving)

    (other level-up options: race-chip; pedal box mod; bigger intercooler).. pero kahit wala muna mga ito, matutuwa kana sa spirited driving pag nagawa mo above minimum 3.. IMHO and per personal experience.

    Can it reach the 200 km/h mark for non vgt in stock form for both a/t and m/t if given enough road sir?

    hehe i doubt if stock, piniga ko sa slex nung nilabas 150 pa lang mejo gigil na tunog, pero kung 120-140 lang hindi kayang iwanan stock. mabilis pumick-up glx, kakatuwa nga e humabol sa kin bimmer tsaka nissan pick up.

    If you want to turn your montero into a race car, get the gas variant and install the modification mentioned on the previous posts..after all you will still have a montero ;).

    Ah ok sir hehe nabasa ko lang dn kc sa isang thread na may umabot daw ng 190 km/h * 4.2k rpm in stockform na ms gls 2009 non vgt w/c is 30 kg heavier than the ms glx non-vgt, i know naman ndi pang karera ang monty just wanna know the full capabilities of the ms non vgt hehe tnx sir =)

    correct, we monty owners should not go over-board when it comes to our rig's capabilities as this is not a race car.. we just have to enjoy its power ONLY WITHIN its class...

    as for the top speed question, i was only able to max ~150kph at SCTEX for 10-15mins i think.. main use ko talaga sa power niya yung pagsingit sa mga trucks on hiways/expressways like i'm driving my previous CRV Gen1

    if not mistaken, almost reaching 4k rpm na that time.. medyo gigil na tunog ng engine noon plus mura na nang mura si misis kaya di ko na masyado matandaan exact rpm.. :P :P --> and to think, i was on ~50/50 Seaoil / VPower mix at that time... gusto ko pa uli sana subukan using pure VPower pero parang takot na akong biritan ng ganun ulet.

    ano po pinaka ok/maganda brand na turbo timer ikabit sa glx? yun pde mo na i-lock/alarm at meron yata nun may security wiring pag depress hand brake mamamatay makina, sa casa kasi mejo mahal pakabit.
