Yun nga Ry, kakapalit ko ng 4 set of tires na R15 nung november. Ang mahal nagulat nga ako sa presyo. kung papalitan ko ng 16' na web ralliart sayang. Pero iba talga pag bago tires, sarap i laro. hehehe

Sir Nippon paint lang ginamit ko ok naman nakaka 5 months na. Niliha ko muna sya ng G600, tinanggal ko din yung mismong step pati yun painted ko din using Nippon. Two days ko sya DIY, talagang pinatuyo ko muna kada cycle siguro naka anim na beses din. Parang brand new na.

P8K++ ang Bridgstone A/T, P9K yung Dunlop A/T3 dito sa amin, sa Manila mura siguro ng P500-800. Lupit nga. Nag-iipon na nga ako ngayon palang. Mga 2 years palit na malamang eh. hehe

At that price pwede mo ring check yung mickey thompson baja ATZ, halos nasa ganyang price range din Ry_tower. Kung hindi nga lang 2K price diff per tire ng binili ko malamang sa mickey na ko.

Based from experience, had a comment on this in another thread (best engine oil for 4D56 engine?).
take note lang mga chiefs that this is only semi-synth oil; most car owners tend to overlook it. Price wise, it is selling like pancakes nowadays because of cheaper price compared to other semi-synths available in the market.

Grabe talaga tinaas ng bridgestone tires ngayon, kaya sakit sa bulsa nga chief! Ako nga I was hoping to change tires nadin w/ the old Paj I inherited from my dad kaso kulang na naman ipon ko laki ng tinaas ng Bridgetone!

yep, semi synthetic nga lang. I change oil every 5000 km naman, so no worries for me. tom_guts, what is the SRP na now? and do they still give discount if cut out yung barcode?

I own local fieldmaster (4m40) with 175K mileage.
The engine is eating oil and experiencing hard starting.
Once started i have to rev the engine up to 2Krpm for 5 minutes
as otherwise the engine will die. I live in QC and would like to get
your recommendation on best engine mechanic in QC or nearby area.

I don't recognize any significant change in fuel consumption for last 8years im driving this rig - still averages 7.5km/liter.

Where can i bring the rig to check the injection pump seal?
I just need a mechanic that can diagnose if the problem is due to engine
loose compression or fuel injection problem.

The car will start naman in 1 click - but have to step on the accelerator as otherwise the engine will die (low rpm). And once the engine dies the next start would be harder and once re-started it will spew black smoke.

On oil consumption - i top-up 1 liter every 6 weeks (approximately 1500km). I said the engine consume oil as there is no oil leak mark visible at engine bay. I think water is being consumed also.

sir kasi sabi mo, hirap sa mga 2nd or 3rd starts diba? and you have to step on the accelerator pa? meaning kulang sa supply ng diesel sa start. Injection pump kasi nagssuply ng fuel. or injectors mo restricted.

pag sa first start lang mahirap, glow plugs/heater related yan.

alaga ba sa tune up yan? when was the last time na nagpa-tune up?
-change oil
-change air filter
-change fuel filter

and also, anong diesel gamit mo?

For the consumption on oil, baka lose compression na? kailangan magpa-compression test ka.
