Hello everyone,
I am new here and I recently bought a Pajero 95' 2.5 4D56 for about 6 months. unfortunately
it seems the engine has seized. hindi na ma turn. the battery,starter,connection is good. stuck.my other mechanic in rizal
is asking 80-90k to fix?! reasonable for 4D56 engine overhaul?
I need your guys help. where is a reputable and good price shop I can take it in Quezon City?

Mahal yan sir, kung ganyan din price dalawang 4d56 na mabibili mo nyan sa bluementritt ... surplus engine is 40-50k..

Dont know any good shop, maybe others dito know of one...


*cb buy ka na brand new, saken 2nd surplus na. If this goes down b'new na ko...

Di prob if hindi sealed type, kasi yung lower aux fan behind ng bumper di sealed type pero mas prone sa flood water pero di naman nasisira. Opinyon ko lang, pag napudpod ung carbon brush matic palit ka buong motor. Samantalang sa non-sealed easily replacement ang carbon...

i tried to replace yung carbon brush sa main aux fan, kaso nabasag magnet... hehehe

Just want to ask other than the regular engine change oil, injection pump calibration, air cleaner replacement, atf change oil, ano pa po ba dapat maging part ng regular preventive maintenance ng 4m40 engine and tranny?

Differential oil? I always check mine when my FM is lifted. You probably need to check your belts and hoses regularly too plus flush out your radiator and brake system annually.

Underchasis parts and wheel alignments. Check mo din sila from time to time.

No tune up is needed, valves are self adjusting :D

Sinubukan ko paganahin yun boost gauge na nabili ko at napagana ko na. At 3k RPM, boost is at 1 bar. Tapos ni-tap ko siya sa isang hose coming from turbo.
