Salamat CB, pinaalala mo sa akin ang nag-iisang bad experience ko sa Speedlab. I have decided to pull out yun plan ko sa kanila. Buti nalang na on the spot nila gagawin yun fabrication. Called Brodeth and researched at ang daming good feedbacks sa kanila. Doon nalang ako pupunta sa Sabado early morning. Kaya naman daw nila tapusin yun fabrication.

Guys, tanong lang. From cold start, i have screeching sound when i accelerate.. Siguro mga 50-300meters from parking, then mawawala.. If i warm my fm for 10-15mins before acceleration, wala na yun screeching sound.. Ano kaya yun? Fan belt problems?

Most likely belt yan, either fan or aircon. Check mo lang yun tension kung ok pa. Kung matagal na yun belts mo, papalitan mo na yan

I recently had an experience similar to Testament's. I was driving to megamall on Edsa when I noticed that my a/c seems to have lost its coolness. I checked my gauges and my temeprature was slowly but surely climbing. I immediately turned off my a/c and slowed down and turned right into Pioneer then started looking for a place where I can get it looked at. As it was a Sunday, I wasn't very optimistic that there would be garages that would be open. I was able to chance upon a Petron that had a service area. I just barely made it as my temperture was getting really high. Upon opening my bonnet, there was a loud hissing sound. They dismantled the intercooler and we all saw that my hose had ruptured and after checking, it seemed to be the only problem. Luckily, there was an auto parts shop called Archie's on Shaw that was open so I was able to get a new hose, clamps and whiz coolant from them. Funnily enough, they had one last OEM hose left. Petron installed it, filled up my tank with the coolant mixed with distilled water and went on my merry way. Whew!

Oh, lucky you that you got an OEM hose and that your problem was only a busted hose. Unlike mine wherein my thermostat got busted in the middle of heavy rain.

Hmmmm, 20 years na rin yun JDM ko. I should start looking for a new radiator. Saan ba may mabibiling full aluminum radiator at magkano bentahan nito ngayon?

Tsaka, anong magandang brand ng pulley tensioner ang maganda? Ok lang sana kung mababaklas ko yun bearing para yun lang papalitan ko, kaso ang hirap baklasin. Nung bumili kasi ako dati, sabi yun sa 4M40 at sa FX pareho lang daw.

Nope. Kahit di ka naman naka-Devilsown, pwede naman naka aluminum pipes ka.

If 8k, mura yan. Kasi replacement plastic top aluminum core rad nasa 12k up na e.
