I thought the AT filter would look similar to a fuel or oil filter. I'm surprised that it looks like a pan. How much did the filter and gasket cost you all in all and who did your replacement?

    Hello All,

Just got myself a Pajero FM a couple of days ago. First one that I spent on with my hard earned money and really happy with it. As with second hand cars there are minor quirks to which I would like to ask you guys...

    Fuel Gauge
    - tank was near empty when I got it so I filled it up with P700 worth of diesel...indicated reached almost 1/4...all is good
    - the next morning I was surprised that it's back to near the red line again...later that day, it's again back to almost 1/4
    - with this I'm planning to replace the fuel float...is this the best solution or there are others I should look into?

    Aircon Vents/ Louvers
    - aircon is ok...nitpick is some of the louvers are fixed
    - i'm planning to have this replaced...browsing through this thread it seems price ranges from P1,500-P3,500 per piece but those are a couple of years ago
    - any idea on the current price of these spare parts? it's not really a necessity but its the OC part in me that wants to replace them

    Turning Off the Engine
    - when I turn off the engine, there's this loud/ growling sound while doing so...is it normal?

I'm quite a newbie with regards to cars so I look forward to everyone's feedback/ suggestions. I do hope to contribute as I learn this great machine.

    Regards,
    Dino

Yeah. The first time na ni-examine ko siya, yan ang una kong napansin. Then second yun cross member.

    RE: Fuel gauge
Most likely baka sira nga ang float. Have it replaced nalang. I know someone here who recently changed/repaired his fuel float.

    RE: Growling sound
Paanong growling? As in pagkatapos mag-off eh tsaka papasok yun sound?

    RE: Aircon vents

    fellas,
    alive parin conversation dito.
    owner of Gen 2 here,

may tanong lang ako, nag pa casa tune up ako dito sa province, isabela, then pa check ko na rin un leak sa ilalim, bale un leak is coming from crankcase,
oil pan ng engine. pina qoute ko, 2500 labor. kasi ibaba pa un front diff. 2 days work

correction pala sa sinabi ko, un sinasabi dito transfer case is 90W GL4. not the tranny, naguluhan na ako.

    thanks

i think dapat parehas lang... tanong tanong na rin sa parts people ng mitsu casa just to be sure... kasi come to think of it, isa lang naman parts catalogue ng Pajero may it be local or JDM.... BTW, order basis yan sa casa and independent mitsubishi parts sellers like motorix (based on my experience) hindi sila nagbebenta nyan... hinuhugasan lang daw nila

ballpark figure for gasket and filter siguro 2k lahat (may sukli na yan)

around 2k for both parts (wayback 2011) ...my trusted mechanic along marcos highway did the replacement... he charged me 700pesos labor.

650 quote nila sa akin ng labor. Mejo masungit yung lalaki nakausap ko. Anak yata nung mayari. Kasi i brought my own oil and oil filter kanina.

Pag sira yung tranny support, malakas vibration. Lalo na kung nasa D or R
