I had a quote for alternator at MIT-Parts Banawe.

5.5K - Reconditioned
16K - OEM

They also have parts of the alternator.
PLanning to have it check first then buy parts.

Pero what about yung reconditioned unit? ok ba ito? Japan units daw ito tapos inayos.....

Try to have your alternator looked at, it may just be a simple cleaning procedure...

I've had a reconditioned unit before sa ibang ride never had any problems with it, pero syempre case t0 case basis yan. Pero kung me warranty pede na din siguro. But if ok lang syo yung OEM price it would be better since its brand new

Make sure magaling talaga titingin ng lternator mo kasi tsambahan yung recon untis eh, better if OEM talaga sa alternator.

*Acertan: Re sa bumper puwede pukpok dyan pero i-pa-flat black color mo na lang para hindi halata, with maselya para pantay. hehe

Pero kung sago naman ng wrranty ni fortuner, kuha k na lang surplus para bolt-on.

Mit-parts Front P800, Rear P700. Hindi ko nga nasubukan tumawad dun sa rear, maliit kais mga P600 baka binigay pa. hehe, nagmamadali kasi.

Akebono nila P3,000 front. Hindi ko natanong rear.

Sa motorix, P3,200 front, P3000 rear, mas mura sa mit-parts.

Thermostat = OEM P800 sa mit-parts din.

I called one auto-supply and they have IC, regulators,etc for replacement.....

Alternator/electrical issues...just take your rig's to Rey's Electrical (15th ave Cubao) or Wizard along Morato.

syempre kung yung may ari ng fortuner di payag na repair lang yung bumpers and hood niya kami pa kaya and in the 1st place its their fault.

sa mitsubishi already asked for quotation merong estimate fee of 1.5k na ma wawaive once natuloy repair


repair costs is around 35k to 48k on most shops


ang mahal is yung rear bumper,
door upper area needs re alignment, replace bumper, replace stepfoot, alignment of bumper support,alignment of bumper extension, re-paint,tire cover


hassle lang talaga on my part kasi yung fortuner and his insurance is from pampanga pa

Ok yan, ganyan din gamit ko. hwag ka na lang magtaka pag palagi maitim mags mo. pero for the price, panalo sa performance

Papayag naman siguro yung may ari ng fortuner kahit saan pa ninyo ipasok na accredited repair shop nung insurance niya yan, 1 participation lang naman din kasi yan. Make sure na lang na isang byahe lang kayo sa pampanga para sa mag a-asses sa insurance, after that pwede na kayo magpafax na lang ng loa, kung saan malapit na accredited repair shops ninyo ipapasok. Hassle talaga, pero kung saan dapat medyo makakaluwag ng konti dapat ibigay nila sa inyo yon. Sana po maayos ninyo yan kaagad, hirap pag mga alaga natin may galos, hindi tayo mapakali

I'm happy with it after a few days of use. Definetely better than the one I replaced (Powerplus). Better stopping feel and less fade. Haven't tried it in the boondocks yet though.

it performs well even submerged in a river as seen in my river crossing photo in ppac. it's the excessive brake dust that's a bit annoying.

Tried it yesterday, yes it does not make noise after being submerged. One thing I also like is nawala na yung ingay during the early morning drive out of the garage. Previous pads are noisy when not yet warmed-up. Too hard as well. Okay na brake dust kesa palit rotor as per CB. hehe

Though I was able to buy a Bendix Metal King Plus for my strada before and it was okay as well. However sold it before I could check for rotor wear.

Has anyone in this forum experienced the coolant going to the reservoir after using the paj. Palaging napupuno yung resrvoir after driving for about 40km. What are the possible problems and fixes?

napupuno naman talaga ang coolant reservoir after driving. bumababa ang level when the engine is cold.

sir paano po bang pagkasira? kasi yung sakin before eh tumagas na yung liquid, working naman kahit wala na siyang liquid, kaso medyo hindi lang maganda ang illumination sa gabi pagnakapark lights

Check mo muna brake lines, disc brake pads mo at fluid. Isabay mo na pa-check pero malamang nga warped rotor yan so set aside ka ng mga P1.5-3K for refacing depends upon the shop siguro. Medyo matagal na yung sa akin dati eh.
