Just an update. Diamond made a temporary fix by welding the exhaust and strengthening it. So my advice if denied or ayaw nila I service the complaint is search for the technical service letter. They ordered the parts na, but aside from the exhaust, they will also change the brackets. Sabi ng SA he thinks that the excess vibration might be the culprit as to why the exhaust developed a crack

Spat may technical service bulletin sa Grandis natin. Remember last year, my exhaust broke. Happened again. Yesterday may noise from the grandis and had it checked. May crack ulit the exhaust. Same place sa dati. At first they denied the warranty claim but after complaining found out na may technical service bulletin. Advice ko sa yo to have your unit checked

Ahhh ok. Actually pag dinala ko sa casa yan in a few days, ipapacheck ko din nga. Kasi meron ding sound na parang naguuntugan sa ilalim. Parang exhaust thingy nga na nagvavibrate. Dati din pinawarranty ko cat converter kasi diba napuTol dun sa may dugtungan. Thank you so much sa sinabi mo. Actually iniisip ko nung una dalhin nalang sa mga muffler shops. Pero since sinabi mong may tech service bulletin, i smell warranty claim again.

After one year or one and a half year of use ng grandis niyo, significant ba ang bawas ng brake fluid ng grandis nyo?
Pansin ko kasi sa amin from max naging min yung level

check brakes pads...

i dont own a grandis but as per my experienced, pag bumababa na ang level ng brake fluid it means manipis na din brake pads...

Oks thanks again. May nakita nga akong writeup about grandis' petrol exhaust heat shield problem. Baka yun yung tumutunog sa akin. Or baka tulad ng dati, may naputol sa ilalim.

Thats what happened tp me, I heard a rattling sound kaya dala agad sa Diamomd. At first denied but complained that 1 year pa lang the exhaust so they looked at it again and later found out about the bulletin. Kung i deny claim mo sabihin mo yung incident ko

*Spat, I was able to talk to Bong from Diamond Greenhills and sabi nya approved na the warranty claim since part sya ng technical bulletin. They still need to order the parts from Thailand including the brackets and target arrival date is late September so I suggest is you go there na at baka mahabol pa the delivery

Guys tanong ko lang. May naririnig ako na tunog sa ilalim ng Grandis. Usually sa uneven roads. Parang kumikiskis na bakal. What do you think is causing this?

Baka exhaust pipes na naputol ang bracket. Pero baka lang. Sa case ko, feeling ko may naputol na bracket. Kasi yung tunog niya parang may naguuntugan na bakal. Dadalhin ko sa casa next week. Sasabay ko na din sa pms.

Same with Spat this happened to me twoce. The pipe connecting to the cat converter broke 2x. Parang may naginginig na noise. How old is your Grandis? Mine after a year nangyari na the problem. Then 15 months later nangyari ulit. At first ayaw nila palitan under warranty but they found a technolicall bulletin that the brackets causes excessive vibration that leads to breakage ng exhaust.

My Grandis is already 5 years old. Siguro last year ko napansin yung ngisngis na tunog. But kung loaded ng tao parang nawawala. I'll try to have the exhaust checked. Even for non warranty grandis pasok pa rin yang technical bulletin na yan?

Dapat kasi exhaust warraty is only 1 year or 20k kms somlampas na sa akin but Imstill was able to have my claim orocessed

Same as what happened. Sa Valle ka nagpa welding? Naalala nga ng bodyshop yung car ko. Sabi nila next time daw pag dating ng parts dapat i reinforce nila. Nahirapan ka ba to claim?

Yup sa valle. Same guy yung sumama sakin. Sabi nya nga sakin na nasamahan niya ako dati.
Di naman ako nahirapan. Binanggit ko na agad kay bong yung sa grandis mo. Kinausap ko din yung boss (i think)ni bong. Sabi ko, winarranty na yan dati, bumigay ulit.

Buti naman at dimka nahirapan. Yung boss ni bong na si Gilbert hirap kausap. Sya yung nag pa deny agad pero nireklamo ko after ko lang nagreklamo sa branch head nila doon lang sya gumalaw
