I got my 1991 Mitsubishi Galant GTI (used to be a diplomatic vehicle) at 100K earlier this year.

Tanong ko lang mga sir magkano ngayon ang makinis na 92 GTI?

can somebody help me, i recntly bought a galant 7g with cyclone turbo eng, after paying the seller drove it home after probably a mile the car started to sputter and all the way home i was like driving on a single cylinder engine basically driving on clutch, tried parking it for 2 days and test drive around my neighborhood at first 2mins the turbo etc worked just fine after staying to the temp for 2-3mins the bov was releasing prematurely and it wont stay on boost (it nose dives) again drove it back to my garage on clutch with what does sound like a single cylinder engine, it only happen when it gets to temperature, could it be the maf sensor?

When I acquired my Galant early this year, the firs thing I did was to have the oil (Castrol Magnatec, but I shifted to Shell Helix Plus last month) and spark plugs changed at a friend's shop in Makati. A month later, I had all of the shocks changed to KYB by Cruven (Makati).

Do you mind giving me their contact details? Medyo marami pa yata ako papaayos, though MINOR lang naman po, mostly sa electricity, kase yung power lock and window sumasablay minsan.

newbie here. just recently acquired (2 weeks ago) Galant 91' SS (GTI). wala aq masabi sa performance, swabe humataw. by the way, mga sir baka my alam kau na pwede mabilhan ng aircon vents? kasi nung nabili ko, bali ung mga aircon vents nya eh, pero malakas parin aircon. Thanks!

Sir nakahanap ka ng vent? yung saken may ilang vent din na bali na e,, mas oks kung mapalitan para mas maganda itsura ..

Dirty MAF sensor and also check for turbo leak.

Mga sir,

May economode na button ako napansin, effective ba yun? :-P curious lang, I mean ano silbi talaga dun technically? and 2 option meron sya kase unang press mag lilit ng green, 2nd press mag lilit ng orange, then isa pa for normail (no lit)

Advice naman mga sir and mam..

Mine has POWER & ECONO push button lang. I get better mileage when the ECONO mode is activated, but indeed more POWER when it's deactivated. BTW, mine is A/T 1991 model.

Sa dashboard ko, when the orange POWER indicator is lit, naka-activate ang POWER ko. Walang ilaw kapag ECONO mode gamit ko.

hello. newbie here. ngayon lang ulit sumali sa forum after some time. galant owner din 91 gti got it last August. planning to sell it kasi may engine problems dami ko naring napaayos since i bought it pero hesitant ako kasi ganda ng ride.

Ano ba engine problem baka minor lang at pwedeng ma repair maliban na lang kung babain na makina kailangan overhaul engine.
