LANCER Itlog (93-96) Owners - Please Post Here!

tsaka mga bosing, 6km/l gas ko sa 95 lancer ko, may nag advise sakin na mekaniko, palitan ko daw yung carbo ko, any suggestion po?

mga kuya may 95 EL din kami. hehe. kaso wala akong alam sa pag-ayos ng sasakyan kaya may tanong ako.

nagdrive kami ng mama ko tapos naka-on yung aircon tapos after 5 mins namatay yung makina. tapos pinacheck namin ipalinis daw yung carburador, eh bago lang yun pati yung air filter mga one month old pa lang. tapos binabaan din yung idle speed screw mashado daw mataas. tapos kagabi naman night driving nagstall ulit yung makina kasi bukas headlights. ano kaya problema dun? taasan ba ulit idle speed screw? hindi ko pa natatry kung gano kalayo aabutin ko pag walang aircon/lights. los banos to dasma pa kasi uwi ko eh. baka hindi ako makauwi. hehehe.

Sir pacheck mo ung alternator mo, ung idle mo at higit sa lahat kung my computer box yan malamang don ang tama nyan. sa banawe may kilala akong gumagwa MW auto Electrical and Aircon eto number 4141519 magaling yan sila gumawa ng kahit anong electrical trouble shooting. try mo lang..kasi before nagkaproblem din ako na ganyan sa nissan ko..nagawa nila

specifications wise, the Nissan ECCS is better. EFi, all power, 1.6 cc engine. but the EL is newer, pero power steering lang. Carbed engine, 1.3 cc.

the only edge i see is that the EL is more fuel efficient and is newer.

Ask ko lang kung bakit tumataas ang temp. gauge ko pero hindi naman ako nag overheat. Problem lang is every 2 days naglalagay ako ng tubig sa reservoir. Sabi ng mechanic ko kailangan ng palitan ang cylinder head gasket. Pero wala naman tagas o sigaw akong nakikita. Possible ba sa problem ng auto ko ay thermostat? Thanks

daming possible causes, pero the cylinder head gasket is the least issue. try to:

a. check the underside. may tagas ba ng tubig? kung meron, baka waterpump
b. try also to check for leaks sa mga hoses.
c. replace your radiator cap. baka pulpol na.
d. try also to check your radiator for leaks.

Pag may white smoke pag humahataw, langis ang kinakain ng engine di ba?
what are the things that I need to change?

Medyo nakakainis na kasi pag hinataw yung oto. Dami usok..

malakas ba usok? normally pag ganyan oil seals...
