Mga Sirs!

Newbie here in the forum,I think you can help me with my problem with my lancer 95 glxi.

everytime na start at idling ang makina, may tope yung makina. parang nachoke yung makina. kapag tumakbo naman yung kotse ganon din ang problem parang hinde buo yung pagsunog ng gas at mahina ang hatak.

Things done for repair pero hinde pa rin nasolve yung problem:
1) changed type of gas: from unleaded to xcs 97 octane
2) change oil, oil filter,timing adjustment
3) tune-up valve clearance, changed oil seals and spark plugs
4) changed fuel filter.
5) checked air filter ok pa naman
6) checked hi tension wires, ignition coil ok pa naman
7) cleaned injectors and throttle valve ok naman
8) lastly replaced the fuel pump but still, hinde pa rin nasolve.
so binalik na lang yung luma.

sabi sakin try nila isalpak ng full set ng new servo with throttle valve pero la pa daw stock yung supplier nila.

questions ko for these;
1) servo na kaya ang may tama?
2) minimum of P8thou. daw ang surplus ng 1 set tama po ba?
3) ok lang ba itakbo yung sasakyan kahit may persisting problem na ganito? mga 1 and a half months ng may problem na ganito.

hope you can help me with this po, nawawalan na ko ng pag-asa sa itlog ko. thank you in advance

He he another sensor problem probably maf sensor... have it MUT'd para mas sure... Dude there is no way servo yan, kahit tanggalin mo servo bababa lang idling mo pag on ng a/c eto lang epekto nito...

Medyo mahirap i troubleshoot pag engine stop lang dapat full detail, meron bang power sa car i mean meron bang related sa electrical like stereo, headlight etc.... para mas madali ma dignose yung problem.

ang sabi po sir ng mga mekaniko na humawak sa glxi 95 ko... nawawala ang kuryente.. ngaun po tumatakbo na ung kotse.. pinalitan na naman distributor... pang tatlo nang distributor na pinalit yan..ang recommendation ngaun ng mekaniko palitan yung computer box.. since repaired na po sya...bili daw ng surplus pero hindi pa nagalaw na computer box..

ang question ko po.. ung computer box po ba ang sumisira sa distributor? or may iba pang nag tri trigger sa pag wala na lang bigla ng kuryente sa kotse?

Pag sira ang computer box totally hindi mapapaandar ang kotse at hindi rin tatakbo ito. hindi rin sumisira ng distributor ang computer box. good thing nag rereply sayo si raymond sarol kase magaling ng mechanic ito. duda rin ako kung laging distributor ang sira kase 3 palit mo na, gastos lang yan. baka naman distributor cap lang ang sira since ito rin ang connecton terminal nito sa kuryente. Tip na rin hindi lahat ng mechnic may alam sa EFI karamihan kase sa kanila old school na.

nag reply po ulit si Sir RS sa text ko..salamat na marami ulit... old school nga po sir.. nagkataon pang dun ung naging sakit ng lancer ko.. masakit nga po sa bulsa...sabi ni Sir RS.. distributor talaga problema lancer ko.. nagkataon lang siguro na ung distributor na nakukuha ko di maganda... at hindi naman computer box ang sumisira ng distributor...

ano po ung EFI? part po ba sya ng distributor?

ano po ung EFI? part po ba sya ng distributor?

EFI - "Electronic Fuel Injection" ibig sabihin EFI ang engine mo walang carburador. hindi rin part ng distributor ito. buti nag reply sayo si RS. sana yung last distributor mo ok na...

this is my itlog lancer EL with 1.3 cyclone engine (aka evo zero) race it last October, autocross cebu leg: its a bit slow compared to the honda crx (see attached video)which is full race. My lancer's itlog upgrade are scab, g.i. coiled over and scab exhaust...

+1 sir..d talaga sisirain yan computer box mo ung distributor mo kse ung comp box mo ang kinokontrol lng nyan mainly sa makina mo is ung fuel injection mo (injectors, puel pump..etc). at dahil may distributor ka pa, ignition naman ang kinokontrol nyan(firing order ng spark plugs, timing etc). kumbaga manual pa (old skul) di katulad sa mga bagong auto ngaun nsa computer box na lahat ng control wala nang distributor.

1) where can i find an Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) for my 96 lancer. kung pwede po sana, sa cebu area. kahit sa manila area ok din. inikot ko na ang leon kilat st. sa cebu pero la akong nakita. meron dealer ng genuine parts sa cebu kaso P14,800 yun IAC nya.advisable ba na surplus ipalit ko or kailangan talaga brand new?

2) saka yun check engine light ko eh umiilaw bigla while driving. tapos bigla syang mawawala tapos napapansin ko immediately after mag-off sya parang nag-"hiccup" yun makina. kunektado ba to sa IAC problem ko?

hvmercado, sir na try mo ba i-check ang fuel filter kung may tubig nung palitan?
How about the fuel tank baka may tubig kaya sya parang sakal.

Ito kasi na-experience ko sa akin 96 Lancer and I also did almost half what you have listed until I referred it to my other mechanic. Ayun solve ang problem may tubig sa tangke.

1. Are you sure IAC valve ang may sira?

2. Usually pag nag check engine light may sirang sensor madalas dito MAF sensor. pag nag CEL yung car mag jerk na yung idling then pag nawala parang biglang mag sudden stop or yung sinasabi mong hiccup. i dont think IAC ang may sira sa car. pero kung yung sensor and may sira then yes kunektado yung hiccup sa problem.
