    if nalubog, NEVER attempt to start the engine. baka masunog ang electrical parts. ipa-tow sa trusted shop/mekaniko nyo.

    palit ng battery, patuyo muna lahat. dami possible affect electrical items like sensors, radio, computer box (ECU), tranny comp box.

    flush all fluids (engine oil, tranny, brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant). yung engine oil, more than once until mawala tubig.

    pag naistart at stuck up, overhaul na po yan.

    engine vibration, baka sira na engine supports nyo, have em checked.

    rpm (a/c off), 300 is too low. eto rin siguro cause ng vibration. around 800 dapat. may manual adjust yan, yung may malaking screw sa may throttle body, pipihitin po yun.

    servo bypass, 2 long hoses sa may throttle body area tapos may maliit na device sa dulo nakakabit, yun yun.

    Sirs, newbie lng po d2 and dami po akong questions. I'm hoping na may mga sumagot po.
    14yrs na po samin ung Lancer, just last month NAPUTULAN kmi ng TIMING BELT w/c led na ma-i-TOP OVERHAUL sya. CYLINDER GASKET was replaced. Ung BARBULA nya. TENSIONER BEARING. OIL SEAL. SPARKPLUGS. After ng paggawa, napaandar na sya. Then went straight sa gasoline station pra pa-refuel. Change Oil. Carwash. Then nung papunta sa mall nag-OVERHEAT.
    Early morning of Sept26 nailusong nmin sya sa baha palabas ng subdivision pra iakyat sa mtaas na lugar. Upon pag-park NAMATAYAN and na-DISCHARGE ung BATTERY. Days after Ondoy and the baha naiuwi na namin ung ssakyan pro mdalas na nag-o-overheat. Napansin nmin na may tagas sa tubo kya pina-hinang sya ng mekaniko. Luckily, after non natapos ang problem sa temperature.
    One thing na napansin nmin is ung IDLE nya, e, FLUCTUATING. Minsan MATAAS. Minsan SOBRANG BABA nman up to the extent na NAMAMATAYAN sya ng MAKINA. Pg nka NEUTRAL sya and pg nkatapak sa CLUTCH (or CHANGE GEAR) ang taas masyado na prang NAIIPIT. Lagi syang na-stuck sa 2000RPM. It was already adjusted pro mdalas naiipit parin and medyo matagal sya bumalik sa normal idle nya.
    Just this afternoon, habang ng ppa-refill kmi ng freon, we asked ung mekaniko kung bkit ganon ung sa idle nya and he mentioned nga about don sa CERVO. Na baka daw madumi or worst kung may sira, e, papalitan sya ng surplus w/c may cost around 12k.
    We decided na ipagpaliban muna un kasi may kelangan sunduin.
    Nung pauwi na kmi and 2blocks malapit sa house nmin npansin ko na mdyo tumaas ung temp. So, I decided na patayin ung A/C. Pagka-park and pgpatay ko ng makina. I thought of starting the engine again pra sana ma-check ko ung radiator. Unfortunately, d na sya magstart ulit. Walang power ung sa battery.

    Questions
    1. Bakit kya humina ung hatak nung sasakyan?
    -
    Na before maputulan ng Timing Belt, e, sobrang ganda ng performance nito

    2. Bakit mdalas ma-discharge ung battery?
    - Hinigpitan na ung rings don sa batt kc maluwag
    - May kinalaman ba ang Alternator or ung sa RPM nya?

    3. Anong cause nung amoy sunog and white smoke na lumalabas sa muffler?
    - Yesterday pina-spray-an ko ng tubig un sa nag carwash to clean it pro knina meron parin
    - Ok lang ba ung pg spray ng water?

    4. Cervo po ba tlga ang problem pgdating sa RPM nya?
    - Ang lakas po kc sa gas

    5. San po may murang Compressor na Surplus?
    - May leak na po kc ung sakin

    6. May kilala po ba kyo na trusted Mekaniko here/near Cainta na d nman po mahal maningil?
    - Dami na po ngastos this past fews days sa car

    I badly need help and I wanted to get my Timber back in shape :crying:

    bro, mukhang malaki ang problem mo sa oto mo ah. but to answer the question:

    1. it could either be that the overhaul was not correctly done. dapat may warranty yan. this is also the answer to your question sa item #3. dapat wala ng usok yan. my question: na break-in mo ba ng maayos?

    2. check the alternator. baka hindi na kumakarga ng maayos.
    3. see reply at item #1.
    4. pwede. its the last option. since na tune-up naman yang oto mo after the overhaul.
    5. madami sa banawe o sa evangelista makati. but take note. mahirap ang surplus. pwedeng bumigay din yan anytime, tapos walang warranty. you will never know when it will conk out on you.
    6. try mo kay raymond sarol. itlog ang expertise nya.

    - D po sya na break-in ng maayos because of Ondoy. Ang sbi ng mekaniko, may ia-adjust pa daw sya. Gamitin lng daw ng gamitin ung sasakyan.

    2. check the alternator. baka hindi na kumakarga ng maayos.
    - Pa check po nmin ung Alternator pg na-recharge na ung Battery. May nagsabi po sakin na hindi nman daw pinapalitan ung Alternator kundi repair lang. Is that true?

    - So, wag ko na po muna palinis ung Cervo?

    Mga Sirs itlog owner din po ako, 95 model glx. Ask ko lng po kung san matinong magpa-top overhaul, kumakain na kasi ng langis makina ko, nung huli kong pinacheck gasket seal daw po ang papalitan tska piston ring. Gusto ko sana ipagwa na pero sa matino sana at mapagkakatiwalaan. Salamat po ng marami. Kailan po ba next EB?
