LANCER Itlog (93-96) Owners - Please Post Here!

What are the pros and cons of the Lancer itlog? Is it worth it to buy for a 2nd hand car? I saw this ad kasi it looks clean and well maintained..The mileage is 108k. Havent test drive it yet. Need your opinions. I want a 2nd hand civic sana kaya lang nahihirapan ako maghanap.

It's my first post here, I have a 96EL.

Tanong ko lang po gano kabibilis mga itlog nyo?
Yun sa kin kasi pag nasa expressway(NLEX),hanggang 100 kph lang.
Pag lumagpas na dun e nanginginig na,parang makakalas.

Normal ba yun,ano po kayang problema?

i have a 1.5L gli.. fastest i've tried is around 170kph, kaya pa nung kotse pero ako di na hehe.

yung nginig, try nyo pa-check gulong nyo. symptom po yan ng unbalanced wheels, yung nanginginig only at high speeds.

pros, good availability of parts and easy-to-maintain. madali rin ayusin para sa mga mekaniko.

cons, it's relatively an old car na. one of its weak points is its suspension so ito isa sa mga dapat nyo check pag bili 2nd hand. next is pag sa 1.5gli or 1.6glxi, check rin the servo. by now, bumibigay na itong part na to.

hmm... but if magkalapit price and condition, i think it might be better to go for a civic. overall mas matibay sya, though mas mahal slightly pyesa nila.

same car sa akin, got my new servo at shaw merchandising mga 2yrs ago. costs 7.5k lang sa kanila, versus 9k++ sa iba.

ok naman mileage nyo. i average 10km/L city good boy driving, around 13km/L highway.

guys i need your help,,, saan ba recommended nyo na shop for lights pundido kasi headlights ko,,, i'm a girl and first time driver so sobra wala akong alam and i need ur help. please.

If you are in QC sa wizard along tomas morato. Try go there kung di naman masyadong hassle. Medyo trusted ko shop na iyan lalo na sa electrical.

Madali lang palitan ang bulb pero sa ibang shop kasi baka kung anu ano pa ang sasabihing sira like yung pinuntahan ko sa cabao. Naka 90/110 kasi healight bulb ko e sinabi na kailangan palitan pa stock wires ko at dapat lagyan ng relay. Nakalimutan na nila 2 years ago sila ang naglagay ng bulbs na iyan at hindi nga nila sinaggest na palitan ko ng wires and lagyan ng relay. Ibang shop ang nagpalit ng wires ko at naglagay ng relay. Pinacheck ko sa iba napalitan naman daw wires ko at may relay na.

dont go by rapide. you will regret it... there is a separate rapide thread here. search mo na lang.

go by cruven or zee.

2nd the motion. Speaking from experience. Avoid Rapide like a plague. Haven't tried cruven but madaming nagsasabi magling daw.
