Guys thanks sa reply... luckily for me meron spare na timing belt.. another questions sir.... if ever na masiraan ako ng timing belt. will it damage my engine? another questions pa po... how would i know na original na BANDO ang belt brand sa mga fake? mdami kasi nagsasabi na BANDO daw dala nila pero Bandolino pala...

"pag naputol ang belt posibleng ma bend ung valves kasi tatama na siya sa pistons kaya may timing belt para di sila mag katamaan,TOH na yan..:D kung less than 1k ung binebentang belt malaking chance na fake yan T.belt costs about 1k plus ata,tsikoteers correct me if im wrong..:D HTH"

elo po mga ka-itloggers! newbie lng po ako.. magkano po kaya ang magagastos ko sa pagrestore at pgmodify ng lancer glxi (3years ng istambay ang sasakyan) wla nagamit.. sa kapatid ko po kasi toh ngayon binigay n sa akin.. gusto ko sana ipagawa kaso baka mas mahal p gastusin ko kesa bumili ng 2nd hand n car..

-body is 20% rusty
-underchassis repair(makalampag na.. magkano kng palitan lht ng shocks, etc.)
-doors, hood and bumper need to re-align or replace
-floor is 30% rusty
-a lot of rewiring needed
-front windshield frame need to be fixed
-full body repaint (strip to metal)
-dashboard need to be replace
-odometer to be fixed

-convert it to power window
-upholstery(leather) needed for front seat, backseat and compartments, sidings
-fix the air-conditioning system
-gasoline tank need to be replaced
-overhauling of transmission and engine
-wheel alignment
-change front bumper to libero

sa dami nito para ako lalagnatin sa magiging gastos ko.. hahahaha.. help nmn po.. kung pede nyo ko mbigyan ng rough estimate para dito.. thankz in advance.. mabuhay kayong lahat..

sir, sorry maputol ko muna yung thread...may concern lang po ako sa lancer 95 el ko...since mag karga ako ng e10 napansin ko na may lumalabas na puting usok and iba amoy galing sa tambutso...and kelangan po painitin muna makina bago ihataw kasi hina ng hatak. ano po kaya maganda ilagay na gasoline? thank you

Good Day, newbie po ako and its good that there is still discussion about Lancer Itlog. Hindi ko namalayan ang oras na naka six hours na ako kanina sa pagbabasa mula sa simula ng topic sa Page 1. I have learn a lot kaagad base sa mga experiences ninyo. Also mga tips about sa mga Shops and Mechanics. I have bought a Lancer Glxi A/T 93 model 4 months ago. Its my first time to own a front wheel drive car and with Automatic Transmission.

Ask ko lang po kung paano gamitin ng tama ang button na Overdrive sa may Shifting Knob? And may nakakaalam ba sa inyo kung ano talaga ang function ng Power Switch at Eco Switch sa tabi ng Hand Brake?

Pasensya sa very noob inquiry ko, hindi ko kasi ginagamit at baka masira kung hindi ginagamit ng tama.

Salamat po ng advance sa magbibigay ng info.

"sir,OD(overdrive) para sa fast accel un kung mag oovertake ka,the computer lowers the gear para mas malaks ang hatak(correct me if im wrong mga gurus), then ung econo and power switch,simple lang din econo= mas tipid,power=kung bitin ka sa hatak..HTH.."

"medyo malaki ata yan sir,around 150k sobra na siguro yun,if i were you unahin ko muna ung vital needs ng pag papaayus sa oto like ung rust,then ung engine then underchassis,etc..tsaka na ung mga seats upholstry etc..kung kulang sa budget..HTH"

*rex31angel, Salamat sa info. Pwede ko pala gawin na power switch on and then press Overdrive kapag overtaking sa hiway. Hindi ko pa kasi gamay mga technique. Para lang ako nakasay sa bump car hindi katulad ng Manual Transmission. Kapag naka shift sa drive yun na yun gas and brake nalang.
