napa-WTF na lang ako if this is the real reason. probably the coder/programmer didn’t believe that the world will go on beyond 2017.

I have this issue with our 2012 gtv.

Maybe they did not run simulation on the unit to see how it will be on all dates....

My guess, in the code they used a short integer or integer in the variable definition which they used in the date function. And so, at one point it will hit the maximum short integer or integer value and it goes to never never land.

So the fix in the code is just to change in the variable definition to long integer and it will be practically forever for the date....

Update on the HU New Year Time Glitch...

Number of affected owners now has swelled to 40+ and the affected years seem to be MS 2010, 2011, 2012 GLSV and GLX, 2013 and 2014 GLX and one case of a Mirage G4.

Things we tried but didn't work...
Hard Reset, factory reset, battery disconnection then restart, Compass and GPS/Screen calibration. Adjusting the clock 3-4 hours in advance so it would reset and use the actual time. Turning OFF Mix Navi.

The tricky thing is the clock seems to pick a random time setting between 1 and 9. Glitch only affects the time but other HU features are functioning well.

Same here.... I keep on resetting my clock but it always resets back to +8 of the GPS time and there's no option to just sync it to navigation.

Problem: "New Year Time Glitch"

Reporting a strange HU (headunit) issue here from the MMS Facebook page. Affected units seem to be 2012, 2013 and 2014 MS HU units. Multiple owners have commented that after the stroke of New Year 2018, the clock on the HU has been resetting almost daily.

We've tried calibration and going back to factory settings but the head unit still resets after a few hours. Let's post some tips here if you bump into a solution through experimentation barring a head unit change. Thanks

Same issue with my 2011 MS. My guess is it could have something to do with GPS, has anyone tried disconnecting the GPS antenna and doing a reset?

Tingnan mo kung naka engage yung 4x4 gear mo, o baka hindi naka fully engage.
Subukan mong i engage, patakbuhin and then un-engage then patakbuhin mo ulit,
make sure straight yung gulong mo habang nag kakambio.
Matagal talaga mawala yung blink nyan kailangan itakbo para mag fully dis-engage.

Sir panu po pag bigla na stuck ung sasakyan tapos need mo 4x4.. Ndi b siya mag eengage agad?
Tapos ung gls se namin sir matagal nang nka 2h pero nag bliblink parin ung frontwheel..

Guys another question. My GPS is now showing "Application error" application navigation.exe is experiencing trouble and will shutdown blah blah. Do you know how to solve this issue?

Mga tsips, sino na nagpalit dito aircon compressor? May ugong na yung sa akin after magtanggal ng shim, palitin na daw sabi nung technician.

PTP: baka may makatulong na experience ko sa montero ko 2013 GLS V model habagng tumtakbo ko sa slex 90-100kpg biglang nag jerk then yung gear indicator nya pag check ko nagbiblink na yung "D" then ayaw na mag accelerate. pero nung pinatay ko ok na ulit. pero napansin ko ngayn kapag natakbo na ng 90 pataas parang sinisinok. nagpalinis nko ng EGR ano pa kaya possible na problema?
