Is this normal for rear-wheel drive vehicles? Unlike my old honda city and the honda civic of my sister that you just need to let go of the steering wheel and it will return back to straight position.
Casa can easily fix that... It happened to me too

tried hydroplaning (unintentionally) at the glorietta 4 parking lot. kept the nose forward and turned the steering wheel in the same direction. no spin outs naman thankfully. the car wash boys jumped out of the way but luckily nobody was hurt and no car was damaged.

i felt the tires losing grip (kinda like drifting - driving with the car going sideways). from what i know, after going through the wet surface, the car would spin out upon reaching the dry land as the tires were spinning freely during the "wet phase". but fortunately, the wheels didn't spin and immediately gained traction. the wheels that didn't have control seemed to have gained them back immediately. do i have the LSD to thank for that?

whatever it is, the monty's LSD works and probably saved me a lot of money by not hitting the parked cars. drifting is hard to control in itself. losing control in a full parking lot with narrow lanes is probably harder to correct.

The 4x4's have LSD. All models have ABS which allows you to both mash the brakes brainlessly and still turn the vehicle. Use it to your advantage.

The sliding wheel will not continue to slide (Limitted slide) and shift the torque to the wheel with grip, then you have control. LSD is the way to go!!!!!

I wasn't aware that the GLS 4x4 M/T had a LSD (rear limited slip differential). I do know that the GLS SE 4x4 A/T has a hybrid type limited slip differential as does the new GT V.
Both M/T and A/T have a centre (between front and rear) differential with vicious coupling that apportions power % between front and rear (torque split proportion), and can also be locked up with the Super Select gear lever.

    2. When running with auto, the auto upshift gear is felt by a dragging feeling as if "nabitin" ang shift. Note, it is not the downshif (which is normal). but i do understand that the auto transmission will downshift if you push the accelator pedal down. I recommmned you to use the sportronic manual shift for GLS SE.
    3. The engine is too noisy at 1500 rpm.
    4. Do not put the standard rear spoiler. It will only create an acumulation of dirt on the rear mirror/window
    Spoiler Benifits:

A specially designed rear spoiler could increase the fuel efficiency of minivans and SUVs, according to a new study detailed in Green Car Congress. The study reveals that such a spoiler could both reduce drag and nearly eliminate aerodynamic lift—effectively saving several miles per gallon worth of gas consumption.
The researchers used principles of fluid dynamics and ran numerical simulations in order to craft an ideal design for a spoiler specifically designed for bluff-backed vehicles. The study was published in the International Journal of Vehicle Design, and it found "that the aerodynamic drag and lift on a mini-van moving at 108 kph (67 mph) are reduced by 5% and more than 100%, respectively, when the new spoiler is attached to it."
And those numbers, especially the inconsequential-seeming 5 percent of drag relief, can add up to major fuel savings:
"65% of the power required for ground vehicles to travel on a highway at 70 miles per hour is being consumed due to aerodynamic drag, the reductions from the spoiler could increase fuel economy by up to several miles per gallon."

It should be emphasized how different this spoiler is from those we're accustomed to seeing on performance cars, and the small ones already installed on some SUVs and minivans—these spoilers may appear a little strange by comparison:
"Conventional spoilers resemble an inverted plane wing and generally work by increasing the downward force on the back of the vehicle as well as improving the flow of air across the bluff rear. The new rear spoiler resembles a wave in profile rather than a wing."
