Just make sure your brand new unit is... brand new

Since Mitsu dealers are cheap ass and just drives your unit from storage to dealership, check for stone chips in front bumper, hood, and windshield.

Check overall body condition, if there are scratches, dings and bumps and the paint finish per panel, also interior trims/seats. Majority are really dirty since they are exposed to elements and not cleaned properly. The picture i attached is a sample of scratches in just one area of the hood, the unit being given to me had that ALL OVER the unit sadly, and dealer was proud to say that was normal for a brand new unit. it too had LOTS of hardened water marks EVERYWHERE.

While you are at it, check the headunit and speakers since people report here their left speakers suddenly muting intermittently

Check for the loose steering/vibration/veering as indicated in the other thread as well.

Don't install the freebie tint, they're of bad quality kahit 3m pa yan. Less than 2 years you will see warping and gets easily scratched. Made that mistake in our santa fe.

Thanks chief for sharing.. i thought ako lang may issue ganito. Hope maasyos na very soon. Parehs lang kya ung parts na pinalitan sa unit mo and sa akin. Sinabi ksi sa akin power steering coupling. Yan daw ung nag dudugtong ng lower and upper steeringn column.what I did is I emailed MMPC directly and maganda naman ung feedback and experi ence with their customer service. Cguro mga almost 2 months na nung pinalitan ung steering coupling. The following day binalik ko ulit sa casa dahil sa new issue na napansin ko.

Nakuha ko premium last month (Nov.). Pero yun emergency kit today ko lang nakuha. Ngyan lang pinadala kasi daw naubusan sila stock. WAlang additional na bayad.Kasama ng visor at TPL. Baka yun Nov onwards lang na bumili. Message or call muna lang agent mo.

You can use code 3280 after pressing the triangle icon for 10 secs I think. But it'll give off a warning again after you restart the engine/head unit.
Reminder Lang yan and nothin to worry about any malfunctioning part

Yes boss, my wifey said after she successfully input the 3280 code the reminder warning was gone but after restarting again the engine the next day the reminder appears again. Knowing from you that it doesn't bring any pose to malfunction of any system, relieves my worries however am still advising my wife to bring the car to the casa to rectify it because as per my wife that reminder "PERIODIC MAINTENANCE SERVICE REQUIRED" appeared a few days after she went for 5k PMS. Prior she reached 5k kms. No warning did appear on the HU.

if u input that "3280" code thru the HU, it will just comeback after u restart the engine. best is if you reset it using Steering wheel mounted Trip meter controls... make sure Engine is not running..... then u are able to set the next PMS reminder to the next set of mileage....

So, what will be the better remedy if my monty doesn't have this steering wheel mounted trip meter controls? Wife said it's annoying to have the reminder appears everytime she started the engine and reset using the code. The constraint is we are far from the city and my wifey only goes there when there is important appointments.

Wow swerte mo naman at maganda freebie mo! Not sure Lang if that 200 ampere jumper cable can be used for the Monty's Diesel engine. I think ours should be rated 400amp and above IIRC

Nov 12: got the OR/CR with the assigned plate #
2019: got the actual plate #. Hehehehe

Hi I applied already for a 4x2 gls AT. Actually pinagpipiliian ko lang is between this monti and everest trend. Features wise and appeal wise montero wins for me and for some reason sobra akong nasikipan sa everest... unlike sa montero leg rooms are pretty much wide ang medyo con lang for me is yung center console sa driver and passenger side, bulky. Anyway im happy to apply hopefully ma approve ako soon got the best deal so far my problem is.... the SA in that particular casa is asking for reservation fee. Ok lang ba yun? I smirked and worried if they actually have units available kasi bakit need pa ng reservation fee. nalungkot tuloy ako and thinking to go other dealerships where there is unit avail once im approved. and BTW which color is best? bronze, black, or savanna white?? thanks.

Bro day before kmi mag finalize ng deal with monty premium we also paid for reservation. It will be included sa calculation.. but i remember on my 2 units before we didnt pay for it.

Reservation is exactly that, for them to reserve you a particular unit you already like. It should be noted in the reservation invoice the color, conduction sticker, agreed price etc of the unit you fancy, so that that unit is yours already until you fully pay for it or if its financed until bank releases full payment.

Just remember no unit to show you then dont reserve. If thats the case all they want is for you not to canvass from other dealers as you might get a better deal. Even if its refundable. Try refunding anything from these dealers and it'll take a looooooooonnnnnnnngggggggggggg time.
