Mahina ang construction ng oem rims

Buying OEM-copy rims isn't any riskier than buying cheap aftermarket rims. Both aren't held to the same quality standards as OEM or high-end aftermarket rims.
Granted, even Chinese/Taiwanese knockoffs are still made from cast alloy molds so it takes a lot of stress to damage even cheap rims, but as always, caveat emptor.
Do you honestly believe that all the replicas sold in Banawe and Evangelista have gone through the same testing as the OEM rims from car manufacturers themselves?
I have nothing against copy rims - I would probably get another set if I couldn't find nice OEMs for my car. But I make that decision knowing that I didn't get the sturdiest option.

OEM rims are sturdier than knockoffs from China and Taiwan. Save for Rota, most rims that you find in Banawe and Evangelista are Chinese copies of original rims which don't have the strict QC of OEMs.
I've been lucky with my copy rims for my previous car, but I chose to go for higher quality Enkei OEM rims for my current car. Hard to say how much sturdier it is since you only really find out in an accident, and I wouldn't want firsthand experience with that.
This case was obviously a matter of driver error, where the driver hit a gutter or some other sharp object at an angle, going past the tires and shredding the rim. I saw this firsthand when my friend who was in a convoy with me accidently drove past debris from a damaged car on NLEX - it flattened 2 of his tires and bore a hole in one rim. It wouldn't have been any different if he were using aftermarket rims.

when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks into you
From the looks of the tire and yung mga gasgas sa fender mukang nasabit sa gutter. Yung pagsabog ng gulong pwede nga mangyari but I think yung crack sa wheel is from running it flat then rolling on something. Just my two cents...
Then upon inspection wala tama yung tire.

Sent from my E6833 using Tsikot Forums mobile app
Quick answer is YES.
BUT, you need to verify if you have all the needed modules/sensors(YAW rate, accelerometer, pitch and roll) to enable ESC feature.
You can ask zix, I think He has the proper equipment to check it for you.
Expect to spend minimum of 100k pesos siguro including the labor, wiring and needed modules.
This is my future project/gift kay monty sir, pag mag isang taon na siguro.

Usually casa is no good with that, either bebentahan ka nila bago unit or will say na its impossible without even looking or touching your unit. Hehe..
From my little experience, Electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, brake assist, traction control, torque vectoring control, etc... are all found in ABS module. Usually, needed inputs are,
1. Steering wheel angle sensor
2. YAW rate sensor
3. G-force/accel sensor
4. Brake pressure sensor
5. Wheel speed sensors accel pedal sensor (this is given since meron na si monty sa standard.)
Malay natin it is just "deactivated" from planta and no hardwares needed. Hehe..
Good luck!
ESC is either integrated on the Airbag Control Unit or as a separate sensor. You may confirm it with Mitsubishi. Then you might have to re-configure the ECU since it has to interact with the EBS.

Any of you has a faulty DRL too? My DRL on the passenger headlight got busted and is for replacement of the whole headlight. Casa has already ordered the part.
Ok lang sa akin that they fix the DRL but apparently they cant and just replace the whole thing. This is a rare time that I want them to fix just the faulty part and not replace the whole headlight assembly.
Let's see how many weeks or months
O wonder how many days too. I'm guessing less than 2weeks
