Since I got my unit (last Nov 2013), I used Shell Fuel Save Diesel but once in a month I fill-in Vpower as recommended by expert from Shell since Vpower has content that cleans fuel nozzles daw.... my ODO reading is now at 4.3K, so far so good....

Thank you for the input. I read some myth that regular diesel will clog the fuel filter. Buti naman Shell Fuel Save hindi. I think I will follow your fill-up routine.

Now, I'm confused. According to Mitsubishi di na daw kailangan break-in kasi ginagawa na raw sa factory. They said, don't carry heavy loads and don't push it too hard. May nakalagay naman sa manual about running-in (Break-in), not recommended daw yung short distances and heavy loads. I travel from Malabon to Mandaluyong which is around 22km-24km depending on which route I take so I was thinking malayo layo na rin yung byahe ko.

If indeed I need to break-in my monty what is the top speed and distance I should travel?

I'm not sure if it's more practical or we cud save more if we'll buy the unit in manila. we're from bacolod. any suggestion? have actually inquired here in bacolod . their DP is 165k, monthly is around 25k for 5years. that's under psbank. is this offer reasonable? ina agahan ko alis sa umaga para maka hataw man lang sa roxas, so far less than 4k pa lang tinakbo ng monty,

yung break-in kasi kunwari bago overhaul makina palit ng piston rings, valve springs, etc. recommended ng mga mechanics wag muna lalagpas sa 80kph ang takbo for first 1000km, para dahan dahan lumapat lahat nung rings at valve seats, tapos nun, pag walang nag usok, pde na hataw.

actually this is my first diesel, lahat nang sasakyan namin gasoline, nung unang labas civic FD sabi ng SA 1800 makina pero 1600 lang daw consumption, so kuha ko, na salestalk kasi meron ako civic dimension na AT , potek ang lakas sa gas, after 2 and half years binenta ko din at palit jazz AT na 1500 ayun matipid, 9km/liter na, pero eto monty AT, nakaka 8.5km/liter lang (nilagyan ko kasi TC at crdi chips) pero malayo difference sa laki at sa liksi nya, so matipid talaga diesel, bukod sa mas mura per liter..

Pero yung oil nyan from factory sa thailand is for break-in talaga need to change oil talaga sa 1000 PMS. Haist sa kabila remapping ng ECU uso no need na ng chip. Galing!

If you don't do 1k PMS, Mitsubishi will void the 3-year warranty.

I think no one will dare argue not to do the 1k PMS.

I recommend you purchase your unit in Bacolod, if you're going to use it there. Unless the branch is Bacolod has a very poor reputation. Last week, I got my unit in Quezon Ave, there was a problem with the AVT back-up sensor. So I went back today to replace the senor. Imagine if this happened to you, you'll need to ship back your unit to Manila just to replace the sensor. You might be able to save some cash because of the competitive rates here in Manila, sakit ulo naman kung may factory defects na covered naman ng warranty.

Furthermore, you'll be doing your PMS in Bacolod, it's nice to have a strong relationship with their sales team. Kahit papaano di ka pababayaan. Like what happened earlier, accessories is under winterpine (third party authorized by Mitsubishi) yet my sales agent kept on following up the installation of the backup sensor.

Pagsabaysabayin ko na po ang egr blanking, knn filter at cabin filter. Yung occ baka after 5000kms pms na lang po. PM po kita if ready na po ako magpasked. Salamat po.

To, dira ka nalang kuha. Bawi ka nalang sa rebate sg psbank, may rebate sa advance bayad sa due date, may rebate kong sobra ang amount ginbayad mo sa sked amortization nila. Abot na P40k ang accumulate ko sa rebate for 20 mos.

Sir PP, indicated naman sa 2010 manual kung para saan bansa yung model, same as sa online manual. Kaya lang, dahil sa upgrades, other parts from specific models in other countries are being used as upgrades pa sa models natin.

If you are referring to SW remote battery, i guess nag start in some 2012 models na wired na yung controls.

Base sa pagkakaintindi ko sir MID is yung display sa taas at ang HU is yung nasa baba kung saan may lagayan ng CD o magplay-play ng CD.

para before starting the engine, need to turn off the HU(MMID), para less load sa battery during start up and prolonged the life of the HU,

Thanks Sir Reybeck...although na hindi nag-turn-off yung MMID (HU)

instead, meron po ako nakita not sure kung yung small circle, (parang reset button na gagamitan ng paperclip) for HU/MMID reset...
kung ito po talaga yung reset button...

Based on my experience usually the oil leak is the most common symptom (visual), it bounces much at early stage, and thud sound while running when it worsened. With my monty I didn't feel the bounce first, nakita ko muna yun leak, then I realized di nga normal yun bounce nya.

almost a month ago, nag test po ako ng handling performance ng monty ang pushing my limits in driving and the monty handling/stability...sa daang-hari, before po ako mag-vacation, maganda po ang naging result (handling/stability, braking performance ng ABS/EBD)...uphill/downhill, yun lang po meron po akong hissing sound na naririning (parang na-deform na mags na kaya pa-ihandle ng rubber tire[s]) after the run, nasa molino part na ako... but no incident(accident) happened during the run...pag nakauwi po ako sa bahay namin..will check the suspension, and takbo ulit ang monty if this kind of sound will reappear again...

oo nga sir, nakita ko din sa FB remapping ecutek with dyno test sa QC lang tapos yung talyer specializing BRZ/T86, GT-R, and Montys, bumili pa ng bagong monty pang demo nila sa ecutek retuning, tapos me suggested pa na mas malaking turbocharger hehe ipon mode, di pa ko nag inquire kasi wala pa ko budget pero retuning pa lang yata around 30k na wala pa dynotest

at 3k km, finally had our GLX/MT installed with K&N and OCC: and had optitron activated kanina courtesy of sir zix. watching him worked built up his credibility/reputation even more, very accomodating sa mga queries ko in all matters monty.. for now, happing happy na ko sa mods having done with EGR blanking and ac cabin filter noong una pa, also c/o sir zix. mas sumarap hatawin si monty sa nlex back to la union, hindi mararamdamang 120-130kph na pala. pero, ika nga ni sir zix, safety first..
