Yes higher nitrous oxide gases but no black smoke. I am beginning to agree it was deliberately done to lower the price of the car since mitsubishi knows that its targeted end users like us would not complain and would continue to make it no.1 in sales. We seem to be left to our own ingenious remedies. Aaah well. ..thanks for the reply

just finished blanking n16 on 2014 glsv. mitsu used different pipes(n16 now exposed w/o cover)and now aluminum gaskets(before stainless steel)

Zix, same size naman blanking plate?

Jovill, sir no need to clean the manifold since maaga ka naman nag blank. Minimal pa soot deposit niyan. As with my experience with the egr blank, most probably you will get CEL from another problem not related to EGR blanking. So if you do get a CEL, don't remove the plate, have the code scanned first.

Only one point is needed to blank the egr flow. Yung mga n16, 12N, N9, etc. are just codes based on the EGR system illustration so that nagkakaintindi kapag naguusa regarding blanking.

Common points:

N16 is aka as egr cooler inlet
12N is aka as egr cooler outlet
N9 is aka as intake manifold egr inlet.

There is also one shop who does pipe delete of the pipe going to the egr cooler inlet as a way of blanking.

Might be the abs sensor sir, if you have scan tool, pwede nyo makita fault code. Else, pa check nyo na lang sa nearest casa nyo...

Also Doc, if I may add, I recall Zix mentioned to me before na mukhang isang cause ng CEL is pag obstructed yung EGR piston pushing down when its on "open" state. Hence, beware guys not to blank on the 10N area. I noticed this 1st hand when I was cleaning my EGR valve, played pushing down the piston and it extends down until the the EGR Pipe#11.. hence, barado ito pag ni-blank ang 10N.

yup doc, same size naman ang plate. kakatuwa lang kasi egr reads normal pa rin even after blanking hehe.

Magandang umaga mga sir!

Share ko lang FC ng "Montero 2013 GLS-V AT" namin after changing to "UniOil Euro IV Diesel" from "Shell V-Power Nitro Diesel".

Very satisfied sa result (better FC, lower cost, less smoke, lesser noise).

MARAMING SALAMAT sa advice nyu na mas OK ang UniOil.

Hindi ko nacompute yung dati kong FC sa Shell pero ramdam na ramdam ko na mababa yung FC namin, around 7-8km/liters lang.

Traveled: 265km
Fuel: P1,000/P43.05 = 23.23liters
FC: 265km/23.23liters = 11.41km/liters (mixed city/highway driving)

By the way mga sir, ilang liters nalang ba ang laman ng gas tank natin pag umiilaw na yung low fuel light natin sa monty?

Rcp1 bought from CDO to a fellow MSCPer and Installed and tuned by the help of another MSCPer, hindi magkasya kamay ko. Using f-d setting. Ok response and fuel efficient at the same time. Another satisfied mod done.

Tinangal ko bro yung battery. Pero hindi kasya kamay ko. Ang nagkabit fellow mscp galing manila pa sila, saktong naghahanap ng roadtrip. Yup sir sb nalang kulang. Yun next mods ko or baka swaybar, Tingnan ko lang kung ano swak sa budget. hehehe!

Called my agent last monday regarding sa plate, wala namang issue pagdating sa ganyan. They even told me na baka abutin pa ng october daw releasing. I requested 3 as ending sir.

hmm..hoping maayos rin yan problem mo sir.. Sakin naman sobrang happy ako sa naging assistance ni Kent Malinao (kentgil) sa Citimotors LP, halos 2 months lang ni Monty nung mabigay plaka ko with my preferred ending#. (though still waiting for the sticker until now..)
