Done with DIY EGR cleaning + EGR blanking (*N16; pre-cooler only).
EGR chamber *15k kms - Grabe na rin pala soot build-up. Cleaned the chamber as well as the manifold side kasi ang kapal din ng soot build-up. Natagalan lang ako sa pagbaklas kasi 1st time, hindi organized yung attack, + the unavailable tools within hands reach. kaya nung pagbalik, ambilis nalang.
Initial observation with the newly blanked EGR by running it around our subdv:
Prior to blanking, I only hear the turbo wastegate dump excess pressure (the distinct whistling sound). when reaching 1900~2000 RPM during "arangkada". ~20 kph to ~40 kph.
Now that EGR is blanked,, I felt real improvement at low-end torque, specially now that the wastegate dumps excess pressure as early as 1200~1300 RPM.. I guess, this is caused by the back-pressure that is now concentrated , versus routing to the intake manifold, since EGR valve is opened below 2000 RPM.
Next thing is to have more test runs, + having someone to tail me to observe smoke emission pag umarangkada.

Sir zix, aluminum plate yung blanking plate nyo?
Sir sa SBooster, mag iimprove ang accelaration? So pag install nun, mga ilang seconds na lang yung 0 to 100? Or may ibang advantages pa sya sir, like improved FC?
Nga pala sir zix, regarding dun sa combimeter, sa inyo ba nilagay mo ung LED ng security? Kasi sa akin, strada, walng LED yung security.. pati astc at cruise although parang malabo ko yata din ma diy jeje! Lipat ko sana yung indicator ng alarm ko kaso wala ako makuhanan ng resistor na surface mount.
