Meron kasing nag benta sakin bro ng rcp1 maganda kasi ang price sir and 6 months lang din naman ginamit. Bineta niya kasi he shifted to spidertuning sir. Mas maganda raw sa rcp because digital na raw. Saka boss pa reserve ako ng drl by mid of october Ko kunin. Thanks.

Sir, did u also clean the egr and intake manifold prior to blanking? Is it advisable to clean first kahit nasa 5.5k pa lang mileage?

Yes sir chineck naman namin wala naman masyadong dumi. Parang alikabok palang soot ng egr ko kaya onting punas at buga lang wala na. Malaki tulong talaga yung unioil Kaya hindi masyado madumi yung egr. About naman sa manifold hindi ko na nilinis dahil nasa pms naman un sir.

Cons sir erwin siguro check engine light lang but maraming benefits sir once blank na you'll feel and see the difference sir. .

Latest mod occ and egr blanking at the cooler c/o master zixx. Hope cel wont light up. If ever it does, will removing the blank plate and returning the orig gasket solve it or an obd reset is needed? Thanks.

AutoSpeed - EGR Comeback

sharing an article that gives the reason why car manufacturer's design their engines with the egr: to comply with mandates for a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. so the obvious ironic question remains,
1. is the black smoke on hard acceleration which seems to be solved by blanking the egr (but may at times cause the engine to light the cel), lower in nitrous oxide, hydrocarbons and carbon content?? or,
2. does the diesel engine in the monterosport/challenger sold in selected countries with more lenient environment protection laws (read as outside europe and north america) suffer from design flaws (as one tsikoteer mentioned, lacking a catalytic converter and a disesel particulate filter which further cleans emissions) resulting from poor or deliberate planning to reduce production costs and reduce its sticker price????

1. the fact that egr was designed to lessen NOx means blank egr pipe will results to higher NOx in the exhaust.
2. i don't think the case of strada/montero lacking *some* emission control component is a design flaw. it's more of a choice to lower production cost and yet still comply with existing low.

Might be the abs sensor sir, if you have scan tool, pwede nyo makita fault code. Else, pa check nyo na lang sa nearest casa nyo...
