I did 29.4 kpl once with AC on (full tank to full tank method).
Eto detailed computation:
Php600/weekly * 53.42/Petron unleaded (province)
44 kilometers monday-friday, around 50 kilometers saturday and sunday (grocery, palengke, simba at pasyal sa mga kaibigan) saktong blinking na yan ng monday that's 24 kpl.
You can't really compare Mirage to Eon.![]()
For the FC, no question na talga na mas mababa si Eon kasi mas maliit yung engine compared to mirage. Initially si Eon talga choice ko pero since newbie driver lang ako preferred ko A/T kaya nag mirage nalang ako.. Currently happy with my mirage GLS CVT now, mas spacious pa..
there must be something installed in the 1.0L & 1.2L 3-cylinder MIVEC with Auto Stop & Go (AS&G) engine for it to be really fuel efficient then the ECO indicator lights up on the instrument cluster.... well maybe next time MMC wont short change us .... ;)

Dahil dito..
this is provincial traffic with minimal or no bumper to bumper traffic at all right? that condition will never be the case in metro manila
i still prefer mirage over eon bcoz with mirage im given 2 choices; power & speed (spirited driving) or fuel economy (drive slow in a route with minimal traffic)
with eon i can only go with fuel economy, mahihirapan yan sumampa sa mga steep flyover here in manila or going up to baguio
I was in Baguio last week (wed to Sat), at Camp John Hay and I saw a GLS black Eon with Santiago (Isabela?) dealership plate at the parking lot.
Di ko natanong yung driver kung nahirapan ba umakyat since wala yung driver sa car when I saw it. The mere fact its' there, kaya nya umakyat. Kung nahirapan ba o hindi? that's another question. as per niky, malakas daw hatak ni eon e.
Please enlighten. Thanks po.
you get the size of a yaris with a price close to eon. plus the 0.4L difference sa engine. dun pa lang panalo na e. just my opinion
Yes sir that's true bagsak sa 12-14 using caltex silver, and as I said in the other thread bumagsak pa ako sa 10 kpl using shell unleaded (highway driving). Sa Petron ko naramdaman ang tipid ng Eon ko and that was the time na umabot ako sa 29.4 kpl as I can remember cruising at 60-70 kph.
different fuel stations, different fc's.

^thats normal for bumper to bumper traffic
its true that only in cruising speed one can attain maximal fuel economy
