ang main selling point ng Eon ang fuel consumption, I did 29.4 kpl once with AC on (full tank to full tank method). Actually hindi naman Mirage ang direct competitor ng Eon kundi Alto.

    Eto detailed computation:
    Php600/weekly * 53.42/Petron unleaded (province)
44 kilometers monday-friday, around 50 kilometers saturday and sunday (grocery, palengke, simba at pasyal sa mga kaibigan) saktong blinking na yan ng monday that's 24 kpl.

You can't really compare Mirage to Eon.

Yun lang. Yun eco mode ba indicator lang na you are driving efficiently? o may something na nangyayari sa car if nakaenable para makatipid sa fuel consumption?

For the FC, no question na talga na mas mababa si Eon kasi mas maliit yung engine compared to mirage. Initially si Eon talga choice ko pero since newbie driver lang ako preferred ko A/T kaya nag mirage nalang ako.. Currently happy with my mirage GLS CVT now, mas spacious pa ..

there must be something installed in the 1.0L & 1.2L 3-cylinder MIVEC with Auto Stop & Go (AS&G) engine for it to be really fuel efficient then the ECO indicator lights up on the instrument cluster.... well maybe next time MMC wont short change us .... ;)

this is provincial traffic with minimal or no bumper to bumper traffic at all right? that condition will never be the case in metro manila

i still prefer mirage over eon bcoz with mirage im given 2 choices; power & speed (spirited driving) or fuel economy (drive slow in a route with minimal traffic)

with eon i can only go with fuel economy, mahihirapan yan sumampa sa mga steep flyover here in manila or going up to baguio
