btw, what is the meaning of HU? i am new to these jargons you are all using, i believe i am not within your age brackets. i am above 50yrs old, siguro wala naman age limit ang membership dito. my ms will be coming late jan as soon as fund is available.. konti na lang at ma complete ko na yung full payment, mataas ang rate sa bangko kasi.
anyone who can suggest a good brand of turbo timer, i am inclined to purchase one in jan.. thanks again..

Mga Sir Newbie lang sa tsikot, registered for tips & mga exp ng mga naka monty. Just got my 2012 GLS-V monty last two weeks.
Halos same Exp w/Butchyboy, na exp ko din hangang ngayon na pag nag shift ako ng reverse or drive parang may kadyot na kakaiba.. hindi siya stable eh.. tapus same concerns w/other monty owners here, parang mahina yung hatak kapag simula. kaya lagi ako nag manual via paddle shift para mas malakas hatak.. Petron Diesel Max ang gas ko hangang ngayon mag 1k check-up nako..
Mga sir panu ba gamiten ung cruise control?? ayaw gumana pag pnress ko ung ON, bumababa parin ung takbo ko kahet nakalagay na sa Gauge na CRUISE... dapat ba may max na takbo para ma reach un.. tried it sa 60km and 85K, ayaw gumana..
nung orient kasi sa kasa, un nga sabi nung TECH, is press ko lang un ON, tapus kahet bumitaw na ung paa ko sa GAS, ung takbo niya is hindi bababa. Unless pindot ko ulet ung OFF..
Other concerns are:
nag ha-hang minsan ung GPS, kelangan umalis ka muna sa NAV then balek ka para ok.
-saka another question mga sir, para saan exactly ung turbo timer? paano pag hindi ka naman masyado mahataw tumakbo, diba ung turbo nag aactivate mga pag 100-120 ata ung takbo? tama ba?
so kapag wala nun, kelangan everytime na umaalis ka, pag park mo, hindi mo muna papatayin ung auto? appreciate your expertise and inputs mga sir.. TY
and btw to MS owners, have you tried using Seaoil Bioexceed? been using for a week now and very noticeable na tumipid ang MS ko and hindi na matapang ang amoy ng usok nya.
using diesel max / fuelsave diesel average ko is 10km/l and now im using seaoil I think makaka 12 km/l ako.
sa hatak wala ko naramdaman sa changes.
yun lang mahirap maghanap ng seaoil branch hehe
Hi Sir, tama yung sinabi nang Tech sa inyo pero may kulang pa na instructions. After pressing the "ON" button, drive at your desired speed. Say 100kph, then you need to press another button which is "Set". This will set the cruise control speed. You may remove remove your foot sa accelerator and enjoy the feature. Then if you break, accelerate, press the cancel button , the cruise control will be cancelled. BTW, dont forget to turn-off the Cruise Control if not in-use to prevent accidents. You may find more details on this on your Monty's Manual. I think there's also a setting on how to increase and decrease the cruise control speed and how to recall the previously set speed. I have the same dilemma as you.. I also live away from Manila, I am from Baguio City. I hope our unit comes earlier and will not be affected by the RV meter problem. An EB with other monty owners would surely be a big hit.. That is if we already have our units..![]()
sir mas mainam siguro before you shift to a gear like reverse or drive, firm apak niyo sa preno para wala kang maexperience na kakaibang kadyot... i have also noticed that kaya that became a habit of mine when changing gears to reverse or drive...
sa cruise control sir, once na-on mo na, tumakbo ka ng desired speed mo na gusto mo i-maintain... then press COAST SET... kung ano yung current speed mo once you press that yun ang mamaintain na speed, pede mo na bitawan yung acceleration pedal... once na activated na yung naset mong speed pede ka pa din mag-accelerate kung kinakailangan, pag binitawan mo acceleration pedel bababa siya sa sinet mong speed... to turn it off pede mo ipress ulit yung COAST SET pag bigla mo kelanganin magbagal or magbilis ng takbo or pepreno ka konti para bumaba ka sa sinet mong speed... madedeactivate na siya pero naka-on pa din cruise control, hindi lang activated ang set speed... yung ACC SET naman para halimbawa nakapag-COAST SET ka na ng speed mo then nagbagal ko so na-deactivate lang yung set speed mo, when you press ACC SET, kahit without stepping on the gas pedal, mag-aaccelerate siya sa speed na sinet mo... de-activate ACC SET by pressing it again or COAST SET or slightly braking para bumaba sa set speed... everything can also be turned off by simply pressing the on/off to deactivate cruise control... pero once naka-off na yung cruise control pati sa indicator sa dash, wala na yung sinet mong speed pag tinurn-on mo siya ulit... magseset ka ulit...
not advisable for city driving but very useful sa expressways natin like nlex, sctex, slex, etc... basta clear traffic ang expressway...
anyways, these are all just based on my experience using it sir and thinking of sharing it... nakakatulong siya sa mga long drives talaga... hehehe...
Nung nag pa 1K km PMS ako sir sinabi ko lng sa SA, d ko alam kng anu ginawa nila pero after the PMS nawala na yng "kadyot", I guess yng query mo sa cruise control nasagot na. Regarding dun sa "hatak" pansin ko kng medyo spirited driving mode ka nasa 2000-2500 dapat RPM habang tumatakbo para pag inapakan mo pa accelarator mapapangiti ka , na mahirap maachieve pag naka DRIVE yng tranny"turbo lag" ata tawag dun d lng ako sure. Biruin mo pag tumatakbo ako ng 40-50 KPH at pag kinabig mo sa sport mode naka 4th gear sya
Eh kahit sa manual tranny d ata ako naka kwarta pag 40 lng takbo ko, pero pag nagdownshift ka using either the paddle o nung kambio sabay diin sa acc pedal feel mo torque at HP nya
kaso tumataas naman fuel consumption ko. I guess you can't have the best of both worlds, d ko alam kung mareremedyuhan yan nung mga "race chip pro", aftermarket air filter, etc. Shell V power gamit ko although gusto ko gamitin yng SeaOil dahil euro V, read somewhere na pasang awa yung d kasali sa big3 sa water and sediment content nung diesel nila. Something to do sa pag import n transport nung diesel. D ko lng alam kung anu mas detrimental sa engine natin, yng high sulfur content o yng pasang awa na sediment/water contamination.
