Hi. I've not visited this thread for quite some time.
Would just like to seek advice on changing the atf of my monty.
I am aware that there is now the 'dialysis' type of changing it.
Could I get a referral where I could have this done this way? How much would it cost including oil & labor?

Cheapest ATF with SP III can be found sa casa. Have your ATF and ATF Filter changed sa casa. Total costs around 7,000+ pesos.

hello po mga sir.. meron na po ba naka-experienced ng ganitong error?
hindi kasi ako makapagplay ng music thru USB eh, nakailang flash drive na rin ako pero ayaw magplay.. nakikita nya yung mga files pero naka "STOP" lang sya..
nagtry rin ako na isang file lang pero ayaw pa rin magplay..
also tried dvd pero ayaw pa rin..
biglang na lang ayaw magplay ng mp3 eh, nung isang gabi naplay pa tapos kinabukasan ayaw na lang bigla

Does anyone know if the 2015 Montero limited edition 4x4 manual transmission is equipped with a hill-start assist? The vehicle seems very weak if you go uphill, especially in stop and go situations because of traffic. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys! The family is considering getting a 2nd hand coding/backup car sometime early next year, and they're quite interested with the Montero 3.2GLS SE.

Price difference in the 2nd hand market between the older 3.2 and newer 2.5VGT 4x4 variants is around 100-200k. The question is, assuming that unit condition is the same, is the newer GTV or GLS-V M/T worth the extra?

I've never driven a 4M41, though I've extensively driven a Strada GLS Sport V A/T. How's the FC and performance of the 3.2? Anyone here who can give a comparison? The Strada also had a bad habit of flashing the check engine light, though it'll disappear on it's own some time later. We're also concerned with smoke belching tendencies of 2.5 Montero's, though the Strada has never had any such tendencies. Hoping to get some enlightenment here.

Sirs, maybe you have had this experience. yesterday while running around 90kph on slex, my engine just stalled, I slowly went to the curbside and then turned the ignition off then on again and was able to continue to drive to work. In the evening , the same thing happened again, engine just stalled on me again and had to turn ignition off and turned it on again and again it ran... nakauwi naman po ako ... first time for me to ecperience with my monty ... any ideas what could be causing this ... grateful for your views

I replaced my 3 times already since 2011. Sometimes I clean them pero tatagal lang ng 1-2months at masisira din. Eto ung mga noticeable signs pag pasira/barado SCV.

1. Random Low Power

2. Unstable Idle - mala SUA effect, nakabitaw na ako sa gas pedal pero 1200rpm pa rin ang idle. Minsa ayaw mag idle up pag nag aircon naman or very low idle.

3. Parang hinihingal ung takbo ng makina, para sinasapian ng multo.. Hehe.. If you have an ebay obd2, makita mo taas/baba ung Fuel rail pressure and kakadyot kadyot oto EVEN if steady lang apak mo sa gas pedal and flat road surface.

4. Random engine stall. Worst experience ko is pa overtake ako then bigla na lang namatay at bumigat manibela. Buti, malapad ung sidewalk ginilid ko n lang...

Newbie here, Just got pre-owned 2009 Montero GLS SE. May naka experience na ba while traversing highway for an hour mag lit yung ABS sa dashboard? Kapag ni Off engine mawawala na ulit ABS light? This happened 2x na back and forth Tagaytay. Thanks
