I was told that I can use the montero while the registration is still on process, just show your official receipt - will I not be apprehended?

Where can I buy floor matting like 3m specifically cut for montero sport? any picture here?

No problem yan sir monterick, just bear in mind good for 7 days lang ang validity ng sales invoice mo, after seven days punta ka ulit sa dealer mo and you should demand again for a new sales invoice with new date of purchase good for 7 days again. Be safe lang do it again until matngap mo plaka mo. Keep it always on board sa montero mo. Besides may LTO conduction sticker na yong montero mo alam ng mga law inforcers fresh pa yong sasakyan mo. they will not touch you.

since mine will be a cash purchase, i said to my agent to scrap the comprehensive insurance. too expensive!

Better still arrange your own comprehensive insurance. Pretty sure it can be had for under P30k.

My unit (gls 4x2 vgt) is only TPMS-ready... blank lahat ng reading ng pressure ng tires... i think the high-end model (4x4) lang ang equipped with TPMS...

Parang ung backing-up camera or rear camera, pwedeng magkabit but not yet built-in from the stock unit...

Got my Montero yesterday. So far so good! Nice ride and can feel the 178 HP and still seems fuel efficient. GPS navigation is great along with the BT & Ipod connectivity. Only thing, DVDs cannot be played while on Drive or Reverse Mode. It automatically displays "Caution...", only plays on Park mode. Is there a way around this so that the passenger on my side will be able to watch?

Bro, I read the manual, did not find anything there about my concern. As one member suggested, the solution may be with the wiring...
Changed my Montero Blue's wheels to 20" chrome mags, ang pogi!

Kindly check the pictures of my monty 4x2 monty vgt released last feb 16... note that the hood is properly closed... but the space between the hood and fender is somewhat too wide that you can even see what is inside... please let me know if this is normal or should I spend time going back to casa... thanks in advance

Got my unit today. 4x2AT. Some thoughts. AVT sat nav takes a while to get used to. blue tooth pairing works! as does the sat nav and ipod. No tire pressure monitoring or reverse camera for the 4x2. But, know what? Its ok. DVD plays even while the car is moving. My kids love it. Albeit a safety concern.

All quirks that I hated in 2008/09 Montero fixed. Better resistance on a/c knob, better coordinated ip illumination -- finally all amber, less turbo lag, no more ugly head unit.

Negatives:
Really, really annoying blue light on lower left side of the driver seat. Not sure if its the alarm but its very distracting during night driving. For me, this is the one thing I really HATE.... HATE... HATE....
Hate the grille, cup holders still a little small.
Steering wheel remote uses a battery still --- come on! its 2011! By the way, this didn't work when I got it. I had to reset it to get it to work. Service guy thought it was the battery. I had to call his boss.

All in all, a great car. I really think this is far superior to the Fortuner, Everest, Alterra.

The rubber supporter might just need some turning.....

I've encountered this problem in one of the 2010 stradas the hood wasn't well aligned with the quarter panel....did some turning of the rubber support....it did align....
