Lately ng pina service ko ang Aircon ng Strada ko (4yo) the Aircon tech (use to be my relative) insist to install cabin filter, parang around 1K pesos lang, it will help daw minimize future maintenance cost

mismo. nakaka inis na nga some times yung mga excuse nang casa. last pms nang car namin my wife told the casa na ipa install na lang ang aircon cabin filter since nag routine pms na sila. ang sagot sa wife ko is next time na lang daw ikabit dahil hindi pa due for cleaning ang aircon. i said, what? kailangn pa ba antayin ang pms ng aircon bago i-install ang filter? kaya baka ako na lang mg install nang filter. some times casa guys give us some stupid answers.

ako naman sir nung 1k pms sabi ko wheel alignment then ang sagot sakin sa 10kpms pa daw sila nag aalign hehe bwisit.. eh diba 1k & 5k pms lang free service at sa 10k me bayad na kaya nung 5k ininsist ko talaga sa ahente ko..

Waaaahhhh! I tried to do sir zix's idea of optitron style combi meter.. palpak! Dapat pala kasama sya sa park lights din, di lang sa ignition switch.. umilaw tuloy SRS ko huhu!

Dalhin ko sya sa casa bukas to reset my ecu.. anyway time to top up na engine oil.. pero bago yan, napaisip ako sir zix, d kaya pwede pag gamit na lang ako diode, isa para sa 12v supply sa ignition, isa sa illumination? Pahelp sir zix, multa ako load jeje.. malayo kasi ako sa u eh..

Nakapark ang Strada in-law, may kalso sa front at back then habang nag warm-up sya nag shift siya ng gear 1st then rear para magka load ang warm-up nya. After that, nagamoy na ang burnt lining na ng clutch. Ayaw na maalis ng sunog na I think ang lining ang amoy.. gaya ko he is also based sa province, pwede or safe ba na ibyahe ito say 200KM from the Manila kasa?

Sabi sa Casa kalas transmission raw ito? Tama ba yon or di-couple lang to remove the lining?

Your thoughts on this, please?

hehe. pwede naman yan basta i-insist lang sa SA. yung ac cleaning, yan ang huwag na huwag ipapagawa if wala naman pa significant paghina ng ac. dami sisirain na clips and plastics niyan just to pull down the system. kaya nga dapat mag install agad ng ac filter to prevent early pull down of the system

monty/strada walang installed ac filter, so you have to put one. may provision siya para sa ac filter

volt stabilizer maybe.... but,i dont think you need the turbo boost gauge if wala nang mang significant engine mods ka na ininstall sa rig mo especially on the turbo charger side, and matic pa. install ka na lang nang performance chip, mas ma appreciate mo pa ang out come. just my opinion.

Walang ac filter pero may lalagyan siya. Nasa likuran ng drawer sa may passenger. Its up to you kung papalagyan mo, after 3 years tsaka ko nilagyan yung saken.

yes, bakit nga ba di pa nilagay ng mga manufacturers yung mga performance parts? well clearly your friend bought his car just to carry him from point A to B. ask your friend also this simple question: is he satisfied of the tints that the manufacturer installed on his ride? or he wishes he has a vkool tints on his car for better heat rejection and uv protection. if the manufacturer put all performance parts on our rigs engine then i think most of us will complain na naman bakit ang mahal ng price nung car. also some of us dont like the stock look of our rigs tires that's why we change it to either m/t's or bigger/wider rims. you think ganun pa rin ba ang price nung rig/car natin if have a 295/65/20 nitto trail grappler w/ 20" rim and 7" suspension lift?
performance chip is like a budget meal if you want to tweak some imperfections on you engine, instead of installing bigger intercooler, turbos, injectors and etc. the chip only fine tunes your system and our car's ecu can even override the chips signal if our ecu doesnt like what it reads. i'm not an expert on engine mods, i just understand why we do engine, suspension and aesthetic mods
i attached a dyno run result w/ and w/out the chip by berima diesel.
