I'll just pay for setup at Winterpine. Which dealer would everyone suggest I get the ASX from? Although the Peak agent seems to have invested a lot of time on me already preparing quotes. But the two agents don't seem familiar with the GLS' exact specifications and that turned me off a bit.
Does it matter which dealer I get it from -- assuming they have the same offer -- since I can take it to any branch for the PMS? Thanks.

^ I think di pa sila nakakita ng new GLS kahit sa brochure man lang. I requested an agent for sales materials nila sa new asx few weeks back, wala pa rin nabibigay, instead offered me 50K worth of apple gadgets ata yun if i buy on or before Aug. 31. Si sir skybison marami alam, see page 199. So far from the pix i gathered na yung new gls is old gls + cruise control, push start, and LCD colored MID, tama ba?
anybody may alam when's next auto show? il make time para pumunta baka sakali mag display and pa test drive mitsu ng gls.
Yes, the brochure on the Mitsubishi website is an old one. Maybe they'll update it to the 2012 specifications when the 2013 model is out. >>:->
Let me know if you want the new brochure, I can e-mail you the pdf.

mukhang minor aesthetics changes lan ang diff ng 2012 & 2013 models.
"updated grill, revised rear bumpers, chrome accents on the air conditioning dials and an updated steering wheel with more user-friendly controls"
sa rear bumpers nilipat yun singkit na reflectors (like lancers) and ginawang bilog.
according sa aking bubwit sa mitsu, Outlander ata muna yun uunahin i-market, then next 'pagusapan' pa raw yun 2013 ASX.
bili na para dumami na tayo mag FUN RUN!!
*GH, you done on MIVEC retuning?![]()
According to TMR the 2013 ASX will also have a revised rear suspension package and the CVT automatic has been tweaked.
The GLS SE's features have for the most part been unchanged and I'm really more interested in what the GLS version will get that was otherwise exclusive to the SE version. For example, cruise control used to be exclusive to the SE, but was added to the GLS version this year.
Ecu customization success!
All doors auto lock when the speed hits 20kph!
Auto unlock of doors on impact.
Auto unlock of doors when in park. Can be set to auto unlock when engine turned off.
Set headlamp to HID (after market) so no more flickering.
HID turns on when unlocked by the remote.
Removed auto reset of trip computer when engine is turned off for 4 hours.
Things to do next:
Turn on beep horn on lock or unlock through remote.
Activate drl
Active rear fog by turning fog lamp switch twice.
Change signal lights to Led and set voltage in ecu to remove false burnout bulb warning.
This is the cable that I used to change the ECU settings. This will work with Lancers, Evo, Outlander.
Here are some of the settings we can change in the ASX. Notice the Tyre circumference! You can change this to match different size mags to calibrate the speedo to the correct speed.

Thanks. Where did you get the cable? It's Windows-based? Can you change the speed for autolock, or use other parameters, such as putting the gearshift lever to Drive?

Got it from deal extreme dx.com windows based. But others ran virtual box xp on Mac. So far haven't seen a setting for that. I'm still going through all the settings available. I'm looking for a curise control module now for the asx so I can enable it on my gls.
I got my cable from deal extreme dx.com. Look for lexia3 cable. The software is windows based but will work with Mac under virtual os. I haven't tried setting the auto lock on drive. As for the speed there is not setting n what speed it will engage. Im still looking through all the settings available. My next step would be to looks for the cruise control module for the asx and install it in my gls. The software can program the ecu to accept the cruise control module if it is present. I'm thinking of getting automatic folding mirrors for the asx.
Mga boss, question: Is US Gila tint any good? Free with ASX. Another dealer says they will give me free 3M tint. Which one is better? Thanks.
