hows the fuel consumption on ur new lancers?
nice looking car
by the way, i cant help but notice the SFM sign and that your location says "city of 7 lakes", i presume you're from san pablo city? i have fond memories of that great city and earned many friends... i think nadestino ako dyan for several years and love the place... last place i ate there was at the "palmera's" restaurant! sarap at cozy place...
sorry po kung :offtopic:
tama sir. san pablo. by the way, felt yung sa weatherstrip ng lancer ex.
Sir giqiri, parang nakareflect po yung plate # ng Lancer nyo sa 1st pic. Paki-ayos na lang po para na rin sa privacy nyo. Sensya na po.
sagot din ako sa iba...
1. exactly what info is available from that center screen (between the tach and speedometer)? tire pressure included? (btw, what's the ideal pressure for the tires of this car? 30psi?)
tulad ng sabi ni giqiri, ave speed, fuel consumption, estimated driving range for your available fuel, miles before service, ayun.. hindi available yung tire pressure sa center screen pero 32psi nakaprint sa side ng door.
3. can i put seatcovers on considering the airbags deploy from the sides of the front seats?
sabi ata sa manual na wag mag lagay ng seatcover dahil nga sa airbag.
4. how does the "sport" mode work? can i switch to this mode even if the car is moving already? or do i have to stop first then switch? also in sport mode, can i shift even without releasing the gas pedal?
yes you can switch to sport mode even when it is moving. i haven't tried shifting without releasing the gas, sanay narin ako bitawan man lang bago mg shift.
5. do i have to have the alarm activated sa casa?
someone already answered this earlier. mute talaga yung lock/unlock ng alarm.
JDM Galant Fortis Ralliart (aka Lancer Ralliart in export markets)
For some reason the JDM models don't come with a standard rear wing(optional)... and it actually looks good without the rear wing.

That's likely normal, and not bad for a 2.0 (CVT ba?)
We got around 6's on the same driving route with the Caliber 2.0 CVT (same engine, same gearbox... just a lot heavier.
Most 2.0 AT compacts get anywhere between 7-8 on the Alabang - QC route.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I see...kaya pala...I got to test drive the 2.0 Lancer months ago and it felt like a 1.6 car but with high tech features....
quick question lang sirs,
what kind of alarm system is installed with the new lancer? may immobilizer ba?![]()
Are there no plans of introducing the 1.5 MIVEC engine of the Lancer EX here in the Philippines? MMPC should try to bring it here if they REALLY want to compete head-on with Toyota. If MMPC bring the 1.5 Lancer EX here, this should be new variants of the Lancer EX here:
2.0 Lancer EX GT-A CVT
1.5 Lancer EX GT-A CVT
2.0 Lancer EX GT M/T
1.5 Lancer EX GT M/T
2.0 Lancer EX MX CVT
1.5 Lancer EX MX CVT
2.0 Lancer EX MX M/T
1.5 Lancer EX MX M/T
to my understanding, plant in japan (okazaki yata...)is only producing the 2.0 4B11 engine. the 4B10 1800 MIVEC and the 4A91 are made in EU region NedCar plant - so shipping those engines to japan... assembling it there then shipping it to the Philippines will make it make it probably more expensive to be sold here... accodring to a friend from mmpc.
what we REALLY need here is the 1.8 4B10 making 143hp- if the 2.0 is fuel efficient for its size, what more for this! ...and the 1.5 4A91- mas bagay ito for a next generation colt which should be available for all markets soon...
*all- tanong ko lang po if ano offer diyan sa manila yung older model na lancer? yung 2006 model ata. sa amin dito sa cebu is 679k-24k=655. with tint, registration, etc...
btw, im talking about the 1.6 manual GLX variant.
is CVT really useful and effecient? what does is stand for po? ano gamit? more economical in terms of fuel consumption lang po ba?
