try saver's appliances roosevelt branch. nakabili na ako ng 2-split type aircon units before.
their price is well below compared to mall prices at pwede pang mag-haggle.

Has anyone tried the LG la100vc window type? Hanap ako ng mura sa OLX and so far ito ang lowest na nakita ko.
Other options ko Hitachi (their compact series) and Sharp.
Mas mahal pa ang window type na inverter kaysa split type.
If kaya mag-window type setup, then most likely kaya din mag-split type na back-to-back. Just install the compressor bracket on the outer side of the room's wall. Unless it's a condo with very strict rules requiring window types.
Among the inverter window types, I like Panasonic's the most. All others look weird, and Panasonic is Panasonic. I don't buy the hypo that their quality has declined in recent years.

Seems cheaper to me considering installation expenses.
Anyways, I just had a look at actual units at napansin kong parang napakahaba ng window types that it'll really stick out like a sore thumb sa outer wall. Worry ko baka lumagpas sa properly line namin or, if I install above a window, baka hindi masupport maigi ng brackets.
Also went to Anson's and I'm thinking of getting a Gree full dc inverter split type na lang. 30k with 7.5k installation.
Gree and Kolin are all under Daikin says the sales guy. Daikin is good, right?
I appreciate the tips.
I found Daikin FTKC series in OLX. Free installation pa.
Pay a lil more for oversized drain pipe, go beyond 1" dia. Size matters here. The industry standard 3/4" is actually 'sub', a joke & will easily clog. Opt for exposed over embedded insulated tubes, if you won't mind much the visible routing. You'll heave a sigh of relief should trouble & leaks pop.

A friend recently opened a shop at a mall and the contractor installed a Samsung 360° cassette type. I noticed that when their shop is full, around 20-22 people, plus lights, it gets kinda warm (though, no complaints naman from customers). Much colder pa sa common area ng mall compared sa loob. Do you think its under powered?
Additionally, the thermostat setting is always at 18deg°, the lowest I think. Is it ok to keep it that way? Wala bang masisira prematurely if its always at max temp (lowest)? Also, they notice na sobrang bilis dumumi nung filter, and they said na, everytime gusto linisin ung filter, they need to secure a permit with pay pa ata. So very cumbersome, parang dapat daw nag tap na lang sila ng ac sa mall, rather than putting up their own.
Lastly, should a household ac be treated like an auto ac, wherein you put the full blast blower on first for a couple of mins before and after switching it off?
Appreciate the response/s.
When we converted from window type to split type inverter we reduced almost 50% to 70% power consumption.. split type requires inspection for warranty (e.g. area, number of people, lights, electrical plan etc.) before you choose for the suitable HP of aircon. The accredited "inspector" will answer all your concerns po. That's the difference sa window type na you can just buy without proper planning/diagnostic nung target area/room.. Based po sa sinabi nyo mukhang kulang po yung HP nung aircon to cater big crowd and it will consume more electricity kapag underpowered nga..
Yung sa maintenence ng aircon depende din sa dust.. More people = more dusts and kung near sa busy road more dusts din lalo na kung may construction near the area.
Not sure about proper turning off ng ac. If I want to turn it off I"ll just push the power off button.
