I just got an LG 1.5hp window inverter unit to replace a problematic 1hp Carrier non-inverter model.

errr...what was the problem with the 1 hp non-inverter carrier, po?
in my experience, these basic (?) units are easy to fix, kasi.

In a span of 6 months, it had these issues:
1: developed a freon leak, which required servicing (solder leak + replace freon)
2: busted capacitor (according to aircon tech) which had to be replaced
    3: timer sporadically stops working

I figured it's less hassle to just replace it, and at the same time save on my electric bill by getting an inverter unit.

Edit: the Carrier unit is 4 years old na. I already had it fixed, and placed in storage just in case one of our other ACs get busted, para may pang-emergency replacement.

    heh heh.
i also have an old but functioning one. it sprung a leak, twice! and its compressor and capacitor had already been replaced before. i bought a new one, and this older one is now downstairs, waiting like a benchwarmer player in the team.

Hahaha! Carrier has become a back-up brand

Doc is right, though. Madali silang i-service.

Dito daw bro... For pickup (FAIR N SQUARE EMPORIUM INC)

May experience naman ako na mas mura talaga sa mga small or out of mall appliance stores, pero pinost ko lang dito para malaman kung true nga itong malaking price diff or tinaasan ba yung srp to make it look cheaper or baka scam

Kasi, if it's this cheap and legit, bakit ka pa mag window? or maybe, malaki rin ang mura ng window sa kanila?

Just a thought, di kaya "class B" units ito? units na may superficial defects but working properly.

You can try calling the principal to see if the seller is legit. The units should come with the principal's warranty cards.

Just ask them if it's factory refurbished.
