    Why is it that my barkadas don't get it, even though my wife is a filipina and I'm a fil-chi but I love my wife period and marrying her was the best decisions in my whole life, I love her parents and she loves my parents as well, my dad really loves her bcoz he can see that she's caring and she handles the business well. Of well, that's life, you can't please everybody.

    Am guessing they're also fil-chi? Hard to change some people when antiquated values are imposed on them at a young age.

    I remember this Chinese guy from overseas who came from a conservative family and wanted to marry a Filipina. Resistance was there at first, but when they saw she was smoking hot (bordering on indecent whatever she wears) their racism disappeared quickly.

    There are no set rules to racism I guess.
