Phase out na rin yung Eight O’Clock juice/icedtea brand nila by next year. Before Coca cola owning the rights to Eight O’Clock brand, Sugarland (an SMC-owned company back then) manufactures and market Eight O’Clock brand. It used to be my powdered juice drink on my childhood days.
    if memory serves,
those colorful, plastic-backed aluminum sachets are near-immortral and non-recyclable.

I miss Chocolait in bottles the most. Even coke in bottles taste better. I rarely see that anymore.

    yes.
but glass bottles are expensive to manufacture and expensive to store and transport.
they also crack, when the soda is placed in the freezer.
also, kung sino-sino na lang ang pumipirata ng mga bote at ginagamit para sa ibang gamit.

I just learned this morning a buddy of mine from college died of brain cancer several months ago. I became aware of his death from the annual batch undas in memoriam tradition w/c i just read this morning. He's one of only 2 people i've ever known na may photographic memory.

It got me thinking if peeps like him remember every detail of their lives even if cancer cells are ravaging their brain. Not sure if that's a blessing or a curse.

do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do

    that depends.
kasi, only the parts of the brain that the cancers are affecting, will fail.
for example, in ordinary strokes, some of the victim's muscles can not move, but the person's memory is fine.

Why is it so hard right now in getting a student license permit? I ask a friend of mine who is familiar with the new process and he told me that she needs to go to a driving school to get a theoretical driving certificate and then submit it to LTO with written exam to get the student permit thereafter and then need to go again in driving school to get an actual driving course certificate and go back again to LTO to finally get a non professional driver's licence. The process right now is so tedious. I remember when I get a student permit before they gave me 6 months time before I got my non-pro license.

are they now making it a de facto that one should use a driving school, to get a student driving permit and driver's license?

I think requiring new drivers to go to driving schools is a good idea. Para naman may konting pag-asa for improvement ang ating driving community. Hindi yung sangkaterbang tarantado nasa kalye.
