I wish I have that contraption. Hehe, but as I know kailangan skilled din yung gagamit or else iba iba talas ng blade mo.

I've been eyeing the one you like from shopee/lazada. Kaso ang price eh ₱69, parang napaka mura baka fake. Yung iba naman na medyo mahal eh baka hindi quality.

I've been browsing shopee for this. I just don't know which of them have good quality.

    it's also my favorite.

if we want to keep the blade sharp longer,
we have to buy quality knives.
my recommendation to myself is, "avoid knives with thin blades". they lose their sharpness faster.
    i look for stiffer blades.
i want to try a real japanese knife, but...
    mahal!, and..
    baka peke...
Do you have a particular brand you can suggest? Does it apply na na mas mahal mas quality? [emoji16]

noong una... gamit ko similar to what you're using.

pero when we visited Tokyo (old Tsukiji Market), nakita ko yung mga naghahasa ng Japanese Knives... since wala akong budget para sa knife, yung whetstone na lang binili ko.

Its a nice conversation piece, hahaha

    only the di-pidal needs skill.
the other two are designed for the traditional dumbo user, i.e., "tayo".

    in my opinion, pare-pareho sila.
but it does take a degree of insight on how to use it.

Not really related sa cookware but does anyone know any repair and cleaning service for exhaust/range hood? Nagiingay na kasi yung fan and it hasn't been repaired or cleaned for more than a decade. Hehe

I lack those skills. Haha. And if fan motor ang problem, I'd rather pay someone to repair or replace it. Hehe

10 years? If I were you I would just replace it, sell the old one at junk price if you wish. I always look at repair of old electric items as at risk of failing again after a short period, especially for people like me who feel that any repair done inside the house is an inconvenience, I'd rather go through the inconvenience once by simply replacing it with a new one. Tsambahan na ang repair even if you get the more expensive authorized service provider, what more if you get someone like Enteng Butingting.

Hapened to me last year before the lockdown...

I called LaGermania to ask for a technician to repair our range hood for the fisrt time in 12 years. It's out of warranty and they did not want to do home service. They are asking me to bring it to their sevice center.

Then, lockdown hits. Since i have all the time to do DIYs, i had it cleaned, repaired the range hood myself and it's working perfectly now. It just needs some thorough cleaning. I am pretty shre your motor is really dirty.
