    Akala ko ako lang nakakapansin nung lasa ng food kapag luto sa palayok..
    Favorite ko yung nilagang baka na niluto sa palayok, tuwing kakain ako paulit-ulit ko sinasabi "iba talaga ang luto sa palayok"..
    Challenge nga lang talaga yung mas mahabang cooking time..

    It's not only in cooking na masarap ang food if nasa clay pot or palayok, kahit na sa mga teas, iba ang lasa ng tea if you put it in a clay pot compare to a ceramic or glass.

    Totoo yan ang lasa talaga ng luto sa palayok/ clay pot kaso madaling magkabitak. nagpaupo ako ng manok sa palayok langhiya mas mahal pa ang palayok sa manok dito sa katar tas nagka bitak agad

    Palayok namin more or less 30 yrs old na. We use it pag sinaing na tulingan. Mas masarap talaga luto sa palayok

    Wow ang tibay ng palayok nyo mam cathy dito ang mga nabibili nakaka disgrasya pa nga eh di naluto na sinigang eh binitbit ko kasi ililipat ko sa table ayun laglag lahat sa sahing ang sinigang naging sinigang on the floor tuloy

    You mean bumiyak talaga yung palayok?

    Mas matindi yung wok ng GREAT GRANDMOTHER ko 1960s pa kasi dala na niya yun before they moved to Makati from Manila

    it looks iron. my differential is aluminum.
    bring a magnet to it and see if it sticks.

    yes, those old-style cooking things are built to last.
    i bet lola's pots and pans are still in working order in her batalan.

    Yup as in biglang bumigay pang ilalim ng palayok ang palayok pala ay indian made walang pinoy made dito na palayok so matibay pala palayok natin ano

    yung black stain nya happens when you season the wok... based on the photo you shared, kailangan na sya i-season ulit

    pag hindi maganda pagkaka season ng wok madaling mag fade ang season nya ang hirap mag season ng wok or pan

    yup. actually, I find seasoning a wok harder compared to seasoning a cast iron pan.

    Yung Lodge, oil lang tapos iwan mo sa oven, ok na.

    Yung Wok, kailangan mo ilagay sa very high heat yung wok, tapos saka mo pa lang lalagyan ng oil.
