The Araneta Underpass wasn't flooded... the traffic in Q Ave was due to the service road left turners to Araneta Ave... only almost one lane was left to those going to the underpass.

the region has always been baha-in.
one reason why they built the candaba viaduct.
i vaguely remember in the 60s and 70s, floods there would last weeks.

we had a schoolmate who commuted daily from one of the bulacan towns... navotas? valenzuela?
we knew when it was high tide, because this person would be absent from class on those days. binabaha daw ang main roads nila.

Daanan ng tubig galing North at Sierra Madre papunta Manila Bay ang bulacan at Pampanga.

Also a few weeks ago, there is a politician blaming the construction of new airport in Bulacan dahil ilang hectare ang tinaasan ang lupa. Of course it's hard to prove.
