Correct! Like you, I am not trying to convince you since set na ang mind mo about GMA and for me, set na din ang mind ko na walang kwenta si GMAOriginally Posted by BoyFerrari
Erap never resigned. He was threatened. Si GMA kakampi yung nanakot kay Erap.
That's your assumption. I am not pro-GMA. I voted for EDDIE VILLANUEVA in the last elections. I just want to follow the RULE OF LAW just for once.Originally Posted by IceColdBeer
I got my survey from ESPN based on the response of 3,000 football fans. How about you? Where did you get your survey?Originally Posted by IceColdBeer

EDSA 4 is brewing?
Just try passing by the People Power monument... less than a dozen people are there...
How pathetic.
If it is flawed, file a complaint to the Supreme Court. If it is overturned, then so be it, follow the next steps. If it is upheld, then accept the decision and MOVE ON.Originally Posted by baiskee

and as per our Constitution, the Lower House can vote for or against the said justice committee resolution.Originally Posted by baiskee
the opposition was so close into sending this to the Upper House. but what happened during the day of voting? prominent members of the pro-impeachment move was absent for crying out loud!
that's another scenario... problema na ng oposisyon yan, they will ask some explanations from the absent reps for sure.Originally Posted by mazdamazda

i think the people want stability more than the truth at this point .. especially the truth which is being peddled by self-serving individuals from both camps .. people believe their own truths and have already judged gma one way or the other .. which is probably why they are staying away from rallies .. at this point, i don't think their silence is apathy .. i think their silence has the loudest message to the administration and opposition .. which is shut up and get on with your lives ..
Yup, I read it on the papers yesterday. And that's the way to do it. I support that kind of action. If all other legal options have been exhausted, then it's time to accept the outcome.Originally Posted by baiskee
Instead of the suggestions made by other opposition people who vowed to take their case to the streets using a "People's Court" where surely nobody would dare oppose them. They want to take their case to a court where they expect the judge to rule in their favor.
What kind of professional lawmaker or sensible matured adult would endorse such suggestion, right?

Not all people want to know the truth--- denial na yon
what a bunch of cry babies...
at least Lozano has the balls (and even brains) to file a complaint with the SC.

PRO-IMPEACHMENT lawmakers will no longer file a petition at the Supreme Court questioning the decision of the House of Representatives to dismiss all impeachment complaints filed against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and will instead take their case to the streets, a lawyer for the group said Thursday.
"There will be no more filing (before the Supreme Court). The Congressmen decided to go to the streets and plead before the people," Harry Roque told INQ7.
He said the lawmakers made the decision in a meeting in Makati Thursday night. "Obviously they think it is more effective."
Last Tuesday, the House voted 158-51 to uphold a justice committee report recommending the dismissal of three impeachment complaints against Arroyo whom they accused of alleged poll fraud, among others.
The point is, they have their own unfinished business to settle with the people. Originally Posted by qman

Erap buckled under pressure. He does not have the makings of a President, and never will, as evidenced by the lack of firmness and resolve on his part. Have we not learned in the case of Erap, kalagitnaan ng impeachment nag Edsa asan ang closure doon.
Besides, the Estradas only have themselves to thank (blame?) kung bakit biyak ang Pilipinas, because they turned everything into a class war. You know, the whole "rich vs. poor" bullcrap. My family was practically straddling the poverty line at the time when Erap became president, but I never took it against the rich. Some hero of the masses...
Which is why she should have been impeached, if we only had MORE WORTHY members of the opposition.anyways yes I want the thruth about arroyo don't we all?

Tama! people need not go out on the streets and speak out their sentiments. They are just wasting their time. I'm sure even without the street protests, GMA will find a way to get herself in to trouble again. Let us let her work on the economy since she has a lot of debts to pay. Ang daming rain check issued to congressmen, businessmen, etc. Kailangan ng sangkatutak na pondo nyan. Then let her tax the the people some more. Dapat socialized. Mas malaki dapat ang tax sa middle class and elite. Anyways, they will not complain. Most of us are happy with her around. Wala naman tayong ipapalit diba? Hindi naman natin kailangan ang katotohanan. Importante, tahimik tayong magnegosyo. Pera pera na lang and to hell with principles!!!![]()
Well for one, I didn't say that you are pro-GMA. Rule of law is good if it's being followed without any prejudice.Originally Posted by BoyFerrari

As for the survey, I saw it on the newspaper before and heard it over the radio. I think it's SWS or Pulse Asia.
abangan na lang natin ang shame campaign against you know who...
