Burat talaga yang Globe na iyan. Hindi ba may ongoing complaint ang ibang telecoms sa kanila because Globelines is charging a flat rate for their NDD? Sabi nila wala naman daw masama if they charge flat rates for their NDD calls, blah, blah, blah...
And now Globe is compalining because SUN is charging a flat rate? Ang labo ata.

well ganyan talaga...kung businessman ka eh gusto mong protektahan talaga ang investment mo at all cost... its just a matter of whether it is legal or illegal, morally right or not, fair or unfair.... it is the businessman's choice...
the bottomline is protect your business interest....no matter what...and that what they are doing right now.....
This is fairly correct! Binasa mo muna at inintindi ng maigi siguro ang report bago ka nag-comment no?Originally Posted by 5Speed

Point is, Globe and SMART cannot dictate to Sun Cellular how to price their rates within their (Sun's) network. In the first place, SUN would not be able to offer their 24/7 rates without prior NTC approval. If the NTC revokes their approval of SUN's rates, they will get the ire of the consumers. It's like government intervention on what should purely be an interplay of market conditions.
I think SMART and GLOBE are really more scared of having their market share dwindle once SUN is able to expand its network coverage to rival theirs. There will be a migration of subscribers to SUN because of the cheaper rates. Sana nga lang, wag mag turn-around ang SUN once they have their 10 Million subscribers, like what SMART and GLOBE did when they started charging customers for SMS.
Give the consumers the right to choose...
as long as hindi bawal sa batas ginagawa ng SUN...
mag-innovate na lang sila ng new marketing strategy to retain their current subscriber.
yeah they should find ways to tempt the consumers back, not by feeling threatened and filing petitions to stop their rival imo. takot lng tsktsk
Both this giants are shouting "FOUL!" kung baga nakadyot lang ng konti eh. Ano ba naman un nakuhang share ng sun kumpara sa market share nila... its pure monkey business bullying the new kid in school.
So what's stopping them to come up with something better wala namang pumipigil (I still like my Globe). Either way.. panalo pa rin consumer which in the first place (and to remind them) is the reason why they are where they are ryt now.
If i know the attitude of these companies, they'll respond, ok you have the right to choose between the two of us only.Originally Posted by jedi

I think its about time the NTC took a stand and rebuffed SMART and GLOBE publicly for insisting on the higher rates they impose on their subscribers. That kind of public castigation should really open the eyes of the public.
What's more, how come they're holding hearings in closed session? Diba the consumer has a right to be represented there while deliberations and arguments are going on?
silver corolla,
well yes and no, binasa ko lang sya nang mabilisan... but since I've been working for a multinational companies, yan ang obserbasyon ko regarding sa kalakaran nang malalaking business...kasehodang me masagasaang maliliit or individual ang mahalaga lang sa kanila eh maprotektahan ang interest nila... and kahit pa yung maliliit na business, ganon din ang gagawin... I worked for a small family business and now to a multinational corporation and parehas lang ang principle regarding protecting their interest. Natural yan, normally sumisigaw nang foul yung naaapektuhan whether they are a big one or small, but later on, vice versa naman when the time comes na yung other parties naman ang medyo naaapektuhan....
Its all normal in the business world, walang personalan ika nga....
it may be common business practice but it isnt necessarily the right thing to do, oh well life's like that hehe
greed is all we need! pweeh!

from wikipedia, the free encyclopedia..
"Deregulation is the process by which governments remove selected regulations on business in order to (in theory) encourage the efficient operation of markets. The theory is that fewer regulations will lead to a raised level of competitivness, therefore higher productivity, more efficiency and lower prices overall. Deregulation is different from liberalization because a liberalized market, allowing any number of players, can be regulated to protect the consumer's rights, especially to prevent de facto or even legal oligopolies.."
